Into The Darkness

The temple of light

       On the way out of Phoenix drop our heroes heard a large crash coming from the East of the village, and within seconds our heroes were off to find the source of the noise. "Just a little longer guys!" Yelled Darius who was at the front of the group. Darius was right, the crash was coming from a strange temple in the middle of the woods. "Let's go and check it out." Suggested Jennifer, after she tied up her horse and started toward the temple. "Do we have a choice?" Asked Jason, after he said that Jennifer turned around and said: "no you are going in there with me." Jason shook his head and started back towards Phoenix drop, but then a strange looking sword came out of nowhere and somehow snatched the rains out of Jason's hands and stuck them in a nearby tree. "WHERE DID THAT COME FROM!?!?" Screeched Jason, he saw Jennifer walk over and grab the strange sword and say, "Oh you mean my rapier, let me say the last guy who refused me got a visit from this blade Jase." Jennifer said as she ran her finger down the blade leaving a small bit of blood on the beautifully crafted weapon, "Where did you get this?" Asked Darius. "It was a gift from the vampires in the dark forest. They are like my best friends, I can get them to make you a new sword to Jason." Said Jennifer as she wiped the blood off the blade with the side of her cloak. Just then a scream could be heard from the temple, and then Jennifer was gone, in 2 seconds Jennifer was in the opening of a large room with a very large door with a dragon face in the middle, again the loud shriek could be heard over a loud roar and crunch, then a strange red liquid came rolling down the steps in front of the hero's, Jason looked in horror as a skull rolled out of the dark hallway. "M-maybe we should go back to town Jen." Said a terrified Jason. "Jason shut up and be a man!" Yelled Jennifer from the darkness of the hall. Then Jennifer screamed as Jason heard a crunch. With a sudden jolt of speed, Jason ran into the dark hallway after Jennifer. As Jason entered the room at the end of the hall, and he saw Jennifer rubbing two skulls together trying to make another loud crunch. "What the hell are you doing Jen," Jason said as he looked over at Jennifer. Jennifer jumped at the sound of his voice and dropped the skulls she had found. "N-n-nothing Jase, just cleaning up is all." She said shuddering as all she saw is a sweaty angered face. "Why the hell did you scare me like that Jen!" Yelled Jason. Just then the temple started to shake and shiver, stones falling from the sealing started to impale skeletons all offer the dimly lit room. "JEN RUN!" Jason yelled before a large stone blocked all communication with Jennifer. On the other side of the wall, Jennifer was trying to use a spell to shatter the stone wall but was failing to get the spell right. Then Jennifer chanted her spell again "HORNELLIOUS EXPLATOR ELEKTRA FLORUS!" Then a large greenish red beam came from the end of Jennifer's staff, which impacted the wall sending rocks and stone everywhere. Jennifer heard a low groan and saw Jason underneath a large piece of stone that had come from the wall she had just blown to bits. "Jason are you ok?" Jennifer asked as she ran to his side. "Ugh..." Jason muttered. "Jason stay with me, please." Jennifer now started to cry, knowing the thought that she probably killed her friend was earth-shattering. "Jason..." Jennifer looked at him as he slightly moved. Jason laid still for hours and hours, then Jennifer got a rush of energy and lifted the stone off of Jason and threw it at a wall, and then started to perform a healing spell. "ERATES NOVEC LATUNEA FREWAST!" Chanted Jennifer, then a small pink beam came from the staff and a similar beam of grey came from Jason's chest, there was not much time left, the grey beam was slowly turning black. "ALTURAS WERVA DFRATE OLOPIADS!" Jennifer chanted, then the dark grey beam turned to a dark blue in minutes, he was barely alive. "Jason are you ok?" Jennifer asked. Jason only grunted, he was the same old Jason, that Jennifer had loved from the moment they met.
