Unexpected Mates

I still remember it like it happened yesterday.I sat in my room just thinking about my crush/best friend .When my mom called me downstairs.I got up from my bed and went downstairs.When i reached the bottom step i saw she was at the front door so i went to her.

She had medium length brown straight brown hair and brown eyes. She had pale skin color and thick eyelashes.

"Yes mom?"

"I want you to meet someone"

She gestured to the boy that looked around my age.He was a little bit taller than me with short dark brown hair and dark brown eyes surrounded by thick lashes.He had nice tan colored skin with plump soft looking lips.The moment i looked into his eyes my heart skipped a beat.

It felt as though we were the only people there.The sound of my mothers voice brought me out of the trans i was in.

"Do you remember him?"

I shook my head because i didn't trust my voice.Then my mothers asked him if he remembered me and he also shook his head.

"You guys went to kindergarten together.You used to call each other brother and sister.Are you sure you don't remember?"

i shook my head again and so did he.

"Well Violette this is Erik. Erik this is Violette. You guys are going to be going to the same school."

I turned back and looked at him again.

"Hi"

"Hey its nice to meet you."

He said in a deep voice that sent chills down my spine.I said bye and went back to my room.All thoughts of my current crush forgotten with others of this new boy in their place.
