"About what?"

The moment those word left his mouth my heart picked up speed.I started panicking not knowing what to say i said the first thing that i could think of.

"What are you talking about?"

"DON'T act like u don't know what im talking about."

He yelled in his alpha voice which made me lower my head in shame.

"I'm sorry i didn't tell you.It's just i didn't want you to be disappointed."

I said with my head lowered in shame.I didn't know how he found out who she was.

"I'm sorry father.It's just that i was afraid you wouldnt approve. "

"Why wouldnt i approve of you finding your mate?"

"Because of who and what she is..."

"What are you talking about? Isn't it Brianna?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Umm your mate.Wait if Brianna's not your mate then who is?"

I stayed silent not knowing if i should tell him the truth.If i did i didn't know what he would do.But if i didn't he might order the pack members to follow me everywhere.While i was contemplating on what to do my father was growing impatient.

"Tell me now!"

His yelling brought me out of my thoughts.

"Ummm......Violette..."

Silence.

"Dad?"

More silence.

I was starting to get scared so i looked up at his face.I saw many emotions pass over his face.Shock.Pity.Sadness.Anger.More pity and then just flat out shock.

"This can't be true..."

"Umm dad whats wrong?"

"Son, go to your room we'll talk about this tomorrow."

"Uhh ok dad."

I walked up the stairs to my room amd sat down on my bed confused as to why my father acted like that.I tossed and turned all night thinking about all the possible reasons as to why my father acted so strange i finally gave up after a couple of hours and just fell into a dream less sleep.
