Unexpected Mates

As i was walking down the street with my best friend Joseph and my father. I heard a lady call my dads name i turned to see a lady that looked to be my dads age maybe younger. He went up to her and gave her a hug. Then he turned to me and introduced me to her.

"Erik this is Lisa one of my ex's. You used to go to school with her daughter."

"Um hi."

I gave a little wave and she smiled and said.

"Hello I'm pretty sure you don't remember me but you might remember my daughter"

She turned towards her house and called her daughter down.

"Violette come down here real quick"

That's when i heard the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

"Coming mom"

Shortly afterwards i heard light footstep coming down the stairs. Then i saw the most beautiful girl i had ever seen walk next to the woman then stop.

"Yes mom?"

"I want you to meet someone"

The woman gestured to me.The girl turned towards me. She had long brown hair with natural red streaks in it. Her eyes were a dark brown color with long eyelashes surrounding them. She had a slight tan from the summer with small pink lips that looked really soft. She was a little bit shorter than me. The moment i looked directly into her eyes my wolf stirred. Then he said the last thing i ever expected him to.

"Mate....."

i just stood there not knowing what to do. Yet it took everything i had not to run to her and just hold her in my arms. I couldn't do that because i didn't know how she would react. She was a human i knew that much.

I heard her mother talking but i couldn't take my eyes off her. Then her mother asked me something. But i wasn't paying attention so i just shook my head.

I felt my dad nudge me with his elbow. But i just ignored him and started paying attention to the woman again.

"You guys went to kindergarten together. You used to call each other brother and sister. Are you sure you don't remember?"

She shook her head and so did i.

"Well Violette this is Erik. Erik this is Violette. You guys are going to be going to the same school."

She turned and looked at me again.

"Hi"

She had such a quiet and shy voice but i still thought it was beautiful.

"Hey its nice to meet you"

Then her mother started talking to my dad. All i could do was look at her beautiful face. She told me bye and went back into her house. After she went out of view i just stood there thinking about my unexpected mate.
