It has been a week since me and Jon failed to kill Erik and Wynter. The only reason i failed to kill him is because of that stupid mate bond. I still remember why im doing this. I looked down at the picture of me and Gabe. Thats when the flashbacks came..

FLASHBACK~

Erik had his arms wrapped around me as we watched t.v. on the couch. I felt light sparks shooting throughout my body places where his skin touched mine. Suddenly he started squeezing me tighter and tighter. I couldn't breathe because of how tight his grip got. But when i turned around it wasn't Erik anymore it was Samantha. Her grip was tighter than anything else , suddenly we heard a loud crack.

That's when i felt it a sharp burning pain in my chest. Everything was spinning and my vision started getting dark spots. The last thing i heard was Sam's voice but altered.

"He was right , you are weak."

I shot out of bed with sweat covering my body. I looked to the other side of the bed and saw Gabe , my boyfriend. We met when he saved me in the woods. I don't really remember much but i know that he saved me from dying. All i remember is waking up with dried blood on my head and wondering through the woods then blacking out again. The next time i woke up I was in a white room and Gabe was helping me.

Gabe got up and looked at me.

"Are you  okay my love?"

"Yes it was just a bad dream.."

I felt him tense beside me.

"Was it about ...him?"

Gabe was a vampire and he already knows i have found my mate. But i told him how Erik used to abuse me , at least that's what my friend Sam said we had known each other before i was attacked and left in the woods to die. Sam says she thinks it was Erik who did it.

"yes..."

"Well things will be better in the morning get some sleep"

3 months later

Me and Gabe were enjoying a night at the park.

"Violette?"

"Yes?"

"Well we have been together for a while now and i was wondering if u wanted to meet my family?"

"Really?"

"Of course."

"Okay i guess."

He lifted me up in the air and spun me around in the air. We continued walking hand in hand. That's when it happen , i looked into the distance to see a shadow of a man. We continued walking thinking the man was just going to pass us. As we got closer i saw what the man looked like and gasped in shock. He continued walking straight towards us. He stopped right in front of Gabe and smiled.

"So this is who you replaced me with."

"Erik?"

"Whats wrong babe don't you remember your mate."

"What are you doing here?"

He smiled wider and then said something that made my blood run cold.

"To prove to you that no one else is allowed to be with you."

He stepped back and arched his back then changed into a a huge brown wolf with gold eyes. But something was off his eyes had a hint of red in them and they were sort of glowing. Before i could think to much about it he attacked Gabe and started biting at his throat Gabe threw Erik off of him then stood up with vampire speed. Then he charged at Erik but before he could touch him he froze and just stood there.

"Gabe?"

Erik jumped on Gabe and ripped his head off. Gabe's lifeless body fell to the cold hard ground. I stood there in shock and then Erik changed back and walked up to me.

"You're mine and only mine now one else is allowed to touch you or be with you"

Then he was gone.

 END OF FLASHBACK~

I got up and threw the vase that was right next to me and watched it smash into little pieces on the wall.
