so, tell me this.

what has your favorite story of the haunted been so far?

what things do you want to see in this book? any questions you haven't gotten answers to yet? hatherine moments? zatherine? more of Louis? the other boys? how long do you want this story? happy ending or sad ending?

also i'm editing haunted right now and it's so much better then it was omf. make sure to re-read it once i'm fully through!

also I contacted wattpad to see if they could get one of the first stories I wrote back. who would want to read it and see how bad I was?

Chapter 5:

Catherine's POV:

I open my drowsy eyes, and Zayn stands before me.

"Catherine, listen..." He begins.

A headache bangs in my head and I just wave him off, "Get the fuck out. I don't want to hear it from youuuuu. Also, Dr. Jenkins said that you're not real."

"You and I both know I'm real. Dr. Jenkins is an asshole and he knows nothing. Listen Catherine, I tried to stop it! But something--a witch maybe-- stopped my power for a minute. God, I don't know how it happened! You have to believe me!"

"And why the fuck do you care if I believe you or not?" I ask, laughing drowsily. "You don't still love me, do you?"

His face reddens, "No, I just want you to know. I only take credit for what I do."

"Good. Why should I believe you? Who would want to do this to me?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out. I have to ask Ariana--another witch--to help find out who cast it and trace it back to the person."

"Why not just ask Demi?" I ask, playing with the hem of my shirt.

"Demi hates me. Plus, she's friends with Harry. Why would she help me?" He asks.

"I don't fucking know. Don't ask me, my head hurts." I groan, rubbing my head.

He rolls his eyes, "I'll tell you when I find out. Goodbye, Catherine."

As I flip him off, he disappears. But, then my door opens to reveal Dr. Jenkins.

"Ah, Catherine! How are you feeling?" He asks.

"Fucking dandy."

"Nice to see you have your sense of humor back."

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I wanted to ask if our little session has worked so far? Any sight of Zayn?"

"No." I lie.

"Good, good! Let me know if you do. We'll see you at lunch." He says, walking out and shutting the door.

"No." I groan inwardly, shoving my face in my pillow.

As you could see in He's Coming, Zayn struggled a lot with his demons and the darkness. But guess what? It'll be worse this book. So don't get confused when you see Zayn's constant mood swings. It's him battling them off. So, as you can see this chapter, Zayn was controlling his darkness. He was concerned for Catherine's well-being and making sure she didn't blame her.

Also, yes Ariana is played by Ariana Grande.

We have had Demi, Taylor, Kendall, and now Ariana.

Fight me.
