August POV

Waking up this morning was peaceful. My moms and brother was gone because she had to get to work and drop Christian off at a daycare. I hate a house that is to quite to me. That shit be having me paranoid.

So I get up and go to the bathroom to handle my business I get out and look at the my phone and it almost time for me to head out. Me and ma moms looked up my shit for class online yesterday so I would be prepared.

My Queen : dont forget to lock the door . Have a good day at school baby.

I go in the kitchen and get me a snack and then head out.

I pull up to school and get out. As I'm getting out the car I see this beautiful ass girl.. When I say beautiful, I mean beautiful. She has a body out of this world. Body's dont really impress me but It was something about her . It's like I'm drawn to her for some reason.

As I'm thinking I look back up and she is gone. I have to find her. This school isn't that huge but until then , im going to have to find my way around it.

As I'm walking this lah hoe who got weave not even glued on track and thats so fucking stiff comes walking up to me.

"Hey . Are you new? Im Miracle" She drags her fingers down my arms. This hoe fingers looks like she digs in her ass 24/7.

"No, Im old" I say sarcastically while pulling her arm off of me. I don't have time for these broads.

"Wait how are you old when you are in high school right now?" She says while twirling her hair .

"Anyways , would you like for me to show your way to class" She purrs while dragging her arm down me again.

"Not interested. And why are your fingernails so black? Please wash them ASAP" I say while walking away. Hoes these days.

As Im walking I see the girl I seen earlier walking down the hallway with her head down. Now is the time for me to do something. Since she has her head down, I'm just going to accidentally put myself in her path so she can accidentally bumb into me. Smart right?

So bumps into me and mumbles something I can't understand. Then she says why is this wall feel so damn hard and smells so damn good.

I think she meant for that to stay in her head . Her voice is so beautiful though.

"I am definitely not a wall baybeh but thank you mama. Its a new cologne I'm trying" I say and she stiffened under my touch.

She lifted her head up and I was in speechless. She is really the most beautiful girl I have ever met. Looking at her and I feel that butterfly shit it my stomach.

Wow that sounded so gay. Get it together August. I need to keep it cool so she won't be freaked out.

Im tryna get her attention but she just zoned out while looking at at me. I don't know what she looking at. Im not really allat.

I try to get her attention again and she snaps out of her trance.

" I was asking if you were alright ma but you zoned out" He chuckled. Damn am I doing this to her?

I asked her about getting my way to class an she was hesitant at first but I finally got her to give in. I wonder do we have any classes together. Its something about her thought and I want to find out what it is.

The day passes by in a blur . I met one cool dude named Jay that I really think I could fuck with. He cool and funny ass hell. Alot of hoes tried to come up to me. What I want to know is why all these hoes wear this stiff ass tangled weave that looks like it is about to come off.

I'm on my way into my last class, Home Economics and I see the girl from earlier walk into the class and my hearts starts racing. Shit she is got me nervous and I don't even know her name. I was starting to think we wouldnt have any classes together.

When I walked in everyone went silent.

"Hi, Im Mrs. Frappe, and I am your Home Ec teacher. You are August right?" She looks down at the paper in her hand.

"Yes ma'am " I nodded. My moms always told me to respect my elders and say 'Yes Ma'am , No Ma'am to show my respect. Mama aint raise no fool nah.
Whispers are circulating around the classroom but I zone them out. I'm looking around the classroom until I spot who I was looking for . There she is sitting by herself with her head down and I frowned.

Why she sitting by herself? Why is her head down?

"Ok can you introduce yourself to the class"

"Yes ma'am. Well uhm I'm August Anthony Alsina Jr. I'm from New Awlins. I moved down her just recently with my moms and my lah brother, mah favorite color is purple, and I luhh to cook. Its a passion of mines"

"Damn his accent is so fine" . I look up at the voice and I seen it was the hoe Miracle. She takes EVERY single class with me and wouldnt leave me alone. I think Imma call her Miracle Whip because her ass been tryna stick to me all day.

" Ok August find your seat. You are sitting next to Kai'Asia Willams . Kai'Asia raise your hands"

She the girl from earlier raises her hand. Kai'Asia. Finally I matched a beautiful name to a beautiful face.

"Oop please don't tell her to raise her hand. No one wants to see that fat giggle" Miracle says and the class snickers.

She puts her head and her hand down.

" Aye chill man you aint got talk about her like that. She not even big. She beautiful. She looks way better than you. Do I need to escort you to a mirror love?"

Everybody in the classroom was silent and looked at me. Hey she had it coming. I find my way to the the station where Kai'Asia is at.

"Why did you help me . I'm don't need your help" She whisperd towards me when I finally sat down.

"Someone should stand up for a beautiful girl like yourself that doesn't deserve to be treated that way"

She blushes and puts her head down. She is so innocent and its so cute.

"Nah, never put your head down when you around me ma" I tilt her head with my index finger. She turns into a damn tomato.

damn. She is really so beautiful.

I let go and turn around and pay attention to Mrs. Frappe. I still feel her eyes gazed on me and I smirked to myself. Kai, Kai, you just dont know what you just got yourself into. I glance one more look at her and I know am determined to crack her little shell and find out more about her. Maybe it will turn into something more. I would like that. Shit, I couldn't get her out of my head all day and I am determined to figure out why.
