You are Daeim in this imagine!

Jin - Faithful

You were resting on your couch with your best friend, Seokjin. Your legs with thrown over his as the two of you watched a drama that was playing on the television. However, you weren't focusing on the show. Your attention was on Seokjin. He had no clue, but you were in love with him.

Moments like this were the best, where it was just the two of you together, being completely comfortable with each other. In fact it was so comfortable that you accidentally blurted out, "Jin, what would you do if I liked you? Like...like liked you?"

Seokjin turned his head to you. You could feel your heart pounding and plowed on, not wanting this moment of courage to slip away. "B-because I do! I really, really like you, Jin. And not just as a friend!"

There was a few seconds of awkward silence before Seokjin bursted out laughing. "Wow, Daeim! You almost got me there, I thought you were serious for a second! Good joke!" He wiped his eye and patted your leg.

You felt your heart break, just a little bit, and forced yourself to laugh along with him. "Yeah, good joke..."

-

That memory filled your mind as you watched Seokjin and his girlfriend (that was not you) act all lovey-dovey across the table. You rolled your eyes and took a sip of your strawberry milkshake. The witch giggled annoyingly as she fed Seokjin a piece of chocolate and you almost gagged.

"Um...hey, Jin?" Both of them turned their attention to you. You wanted to roll your eyes again but held back. "I have something to tell you." Seokjin nodded, his eyes bright and innocent. You almost hated him. Almost. But you loved him too much to ever hate him.

"So...the point of me wanting to see you was...," you cleared your throat and fiddled with your napkin, "I'm moving." You watched the smile slowly slip from Seokjin's beautiful face and almost felt sad, if not for the witch who was still clinging onto him. You would have rather preferred to have told him this in private, but his girlfriend was literally like super glue.

"W-where? When?" He questioned. You bit the inside of your cheek and inhaled deeply.

"I'm moving to London in a week." Seokjin focused on the table. There was something in his expression you couldn't understand. It almost looked like...heartbreak? Nah, that definitely wasn't it.

"Oh...well...we'll just have to make this last week the greatest week you've ever had!" He smiles and you feel your heart twist. His girlfriend nods her head in fake enthusiasm.

It was a lie. Seokjin hardly spent time with you during the week, with the excuse that his stupid girlfriend wanted to do stuff with him. You hated that b- excuse me, witch now more than ever.

Seokjin didn't even come to see you off when you were at the airport. As you climbed the stairs into the plane, you turned around, half expecting to see Seokjin running up. But alas, you saw no trace of him. So much for the greatest week you've ever had.

London was amazing. The architecture, the history, and best of all, the food. You loved it, but it felt empty. Your days at school seemed less bright and slower than they'd been before. Your life seemed quieter, a little more lonely. You were positive this was because you missed Seokjin.

The countless apologetic calls and text messages you'd received from him weren't enough to make you forgive him. You were beyond pissed. His freaking girlfriend was basking in the glow of his attention-- which used to be your job-- while you wasted away in another country. Not that you weren't enjoying it, but still.

And then, a miracle. Seokjin texted you suddenly at school and you read it, immediately feeling happy butterflies in your stomach. He'd come to visit you by himself. Just him. No witch. You were unbelievably happy.

The time ticked by unbearably slowly and the second the bell rang, you dashed out of the class and to your home. You quickly texted Seokjin the address of a café you'd meet him at and changed into more suitable clothes for the occasion. In less than 20 minutes, you found yourself sitting alone at a table.

Anxiously, you checked the time on your phone over and over again. 'Where is he?' You bit your lip and took a bite of your strawberry ice cream. You fiddled with the end of your skirt and prodded at the bow on your Hello Kitty phone case.

As each minute passed, you began to lose hope that he'd show up. 'Maybe this was just a prank...maybe he's not even here in London at all...' you sulked as you twirled your spoon in your now melted ice cream. You heard the sound of the bell tinkling as the café door opened, but didn't bother to look up. It didn't matter anyway, it wasn't Seokjin.

A figure sat itself in the seat across from you and you snapped your head up, ready to bark at the person to leave you alone. But you slowly took in his features and a smile made its way onto your face.

"Hi." Seokjin smiled and ruffled your hair.

"Hi."

"I missed you," he murmured and looked away in what seemed like embrassment.

"I...I missed you, too. A lot," you confessed shyly. What was this shyness that was enveloping the both of you? "How's your girlfriend?"

"I um...I broke up with her," he says. Your eyes widen and you feel the hope that had died out a long time ago start to burn again. "I realized something after you left."

He suddenly cups your his in his and looks you in the eye. "Daeim, I'm sorry for not taking you seriously back then. I was nervous and I did the first thing that came to my mind, which was to make a joke out of it. But really...Daeim, I like you, too. Scratch that, I love y--"

You cut him off by leaning across the table and pressing your lips against his, ignoring the whistles and cheers of the people around you. Seokjin relaxes and kisses you back wholeheartedly before breaking it. You sit back and smile warmly at him.

"So..." Seokjin starts but is unable to continue on, as he's still quite flustered.

"I know you have to go back to Korea, and I have to stay here. But promise me you'll wait for me?" You eye him hopefully.

Seokjin nods and lifts his hand to caress your cheek gently.

"I'll wait for you."
