"Are you ready, kids?"

Taehyung jumped out of his bed, slammed the door open, army rolled through the hallway, somersaulted into the living room, and stood up again.

"Aye aye captain!"

"I can't hear yooouuuu~!"

"AYE AYE CAPT--"

"TAEHYUNG, SHUT UP!" You stomped into the living room from the kitchen, a butcher knife in your hand. "WHY CAN'T I MAKE CEREAL IN PEACE?!"

Your boyfriend looked down at the ground sheepishly, then at you. His eyes widened and he snorted before bursting out with laughter.

"Vanessa, if you're making cereal, why do you have a knife?!" He held his stomach and bent over like an old man, crying from laughing so hard.

"I grabbed a knife so I could put a smile on that face of yours." You stalked towards him as you glared at him through the narrowed slits of your eyelids. He gulped before taking a hesitant step back.

"Why so serious?" He grinned and you returned the bright smile with your own. You dropped the picture of the knife you had in your hand and ran into Taehyung's open arms. He lifted you up and spun around, the both of you laughing giddily.

"Good morning, my alien." You kissed both his cheeks before squishing them together, making his lips pop out, and pecking him on his lips. He sniffed and bit your fingers playfully, you pretending to be in pain in return. He then kissed your finger and set you down safely again.

"Mornin', Vanilla Vanessa~," he sang and you snorted.

"I don't even like vanilla."

"Oh...eh, whatever. I'm still calling you that anyway," he had this cheeky grin on his face that made you want to hug him again. So you did.

Something about Taehyung made him seem like a huggable teddy bear, one that you never wanted to let go of. Naturally, Taehyung wrapped his arms around you as well. He fell back into the couch and pulled you down with him.

You laid on top of him, with his legs on either side of yours and your head resting on his chest. In silence, the two of you watched SpongeBob on the television. Taehyung absent-mindedly played with the ends of your hair, twisting and twirling it in his fingers.

About halfway into the episode, he suddenly said, "Hey, Vanessa?" You turned your head to look at him, letting him know that he had your attention. "Can you see a future with me?"

You didn't even have to think about it before replying with, "Yes, I can."

"Well...that future with me...do you think it's definite?" He kept his eyes on you, letting you know that he was completely serious at the moment. Which was strange and unnatural.

"Yes, I do. What's wrong, Tae? Why are you asking me these questions?" You sat up as you looked at him with worry.

"Because I want to spend my future with you as well. And that's not just it, I...ugh I'm really failing at this," he scratched his head awkwardly. You scrunched your nose and tilted your head.

"What's gotten into you?" You asked. You could feel his heart racing beneath you.

"Vanessa, what I mean is...would you...spend...your future with me and...oh screw it, hang on." He gently pushed you off of him and dashed into the room before returning a few seconds later. He kneeled down on the ground before you and you sat up, feeling awfully confused.

"Taehyung, what are you doing?" You had a feeling you knew where this was goin and felt a growing pit of excitement in your gut.

"Vanessa, we've been dating for quite a long time and honestly, I've been in love with you for even longer than that. You're the most amazing person I have ever met, and the most beautiful, too. I know I'm strange, and I have a lot of faults, but I hope you're willing to accept every part of me. Will you...will you spend the rest of your life with me? W-will you...marry me?" Towards the end, you could tell that he was starting to freak out.

So of course, you tackled him down with a hug. "Yes!!! Yes, I will!!!" You laughed and showered his lovely face with kisses.

"Sorry for proposing to you like this." He gestured to your pajamas and the messy house. "It wasn't as romantic as you were imagining, right? But...I just couldn't wait any longer."

You shook your head and hugged him even tighter. "That's alright. I loved it. I love you."

Taehyung sighed with what sounded like relief. "I love you," he tucked your hair behind your hair and leaned forwards. Your eyelids fluttered shut and you felt him press his lips against yours. It was a sweet, meaningful kiss. One that would forever be in your mind and memory.

This was it. All your life, you had dreamed of this moment. And now your dream was coming true.

You stood beside Taehyung in front of the altar. When finally allowed to, you turned to face him. You found him smiling brightly, emanating nothing but a happy aura. You did the same and felt your love for him grow even more. Yes, you definitely loved him, and you were definitely in love with him.

"Kim Taehyung, do you take Vanessa as your wedded wife?" The minister asked him.

He looked you in the eye before answering, "I do."

"And Vanessa, do you take Taehyung as your wedded husband?"

You smiled and felt a warm, light feeling in your heart.

"I do."

The minister smiled gently and raised his hands. "Then, I now pronounce you husband and wife!" Cheers filled the room.

You jumped into Taehyung's arms and he lifted you up before spinning you around. This was perhaps the happiest moment of your life. You felt taps on your shoulder, and both you and Taehyung turned your heads to look at the minister.

"Hey, buddy. You may now kiss the bride." The minister sent a mysterious wink to Taehyung before walking away, disappearing somewhere in the crowd. You looked down at Taehyung and was immediately met by his lips.

He kissed you again, and again, and again, as though he would die if he didn't. And you were undoubtedly sure that he was definitely, positively, in love with you as well.
