My head was throbing and my throat was burning. The light flickered as my eyes started to adjust to brightness. I was in a puddle or something and my clothes where damp. As my eyes finally adjusted to the light I looked around at my surroundings.

A green garbage bin was to my right, overflowing with white bags of pungent smells. I immediately put my arm to my face to mask the stench. I was indeed in a puddle so I tried to stand. My head pounded even harder as I tried to wiggle my back up the wall. My feet slipped and I landed in the mushy muddy water. How did I get here? Last thing I remebered..... what is the last thing I remembered? I pushed aside the thought and tried to stand up again. This time I was successful. With my head still throbing I tiredly looked around once more. A wall. A brick wall about 20 feet was in front of me. Small puddles scattered the allyway. The light that was once blinding was nothing more than a street light. Out of the allyway was a small road. Across the road was what seemed to be a bar of some sort with only a few cars parked in front of it.

Had I been drinking? No I'm only 16 what am I saying. Wait 16. My birthday. The fire. The ladie. What happened? I was so confused. I decided to push it aside again and focus on fixing this headache. I started to walk out of the allyway, but it was really hard to keep my balance. After a couple times of crashing into the wall I made it out of the allyway. It was really dark, being night, and the only thing that illuminated the street was that blinding yellow street lamp and a bright sign that read Joe's Place above the bar. The buildings that created the allyway looked like a gas station and a small super market, both of which were closed. The overall area was surrounded by dense forest. This place was only a car stop.

Give in all my strength I crossed the empty road and went to the bar. The door was small and made of wood with a sign on it that read '21 and older'. I needed help I bet they won't mind. It's then that I relized I still had my tux on, which was now torn and wet. I checked my vest pocket to see if I still had my phone. To my surprise it was still there. I tried to turn it on but it seemed that the water broke it. I threw it on the ground and went inside the bar.

The whole place smelled like cheap beer and old cheese. It wasn't very pleasant. The building was very small. There was a pool table in the back corner and a couple arcade games in the other open corner. In between them where a few tables. The bar was to the right of the pool table and wrapped across the other wall. The while place was lite by yellow dim lights. A couple guys sat at the bar and one guy was cleaning some glasses behind the bar. I walked up to the bar and sat down on one of the stools.

One of the guys was wearing an orange Hawaii shirt and the other had a plain black polo. The guy with the black polo looked as if he was ready to pass out and the one in the orange Hawaii shirt watched the tv, which had the news on it. The bartender had a Led Zeppelin t-shirt on and was also looking at the news.

"Excuse me sir, where am I?" I asked. "Are you alright Don what happened to you?" He said. "Just tell me where I am, will ya!" I slightly yelled. My head makeing my words irritated. He looked at me for a couple of seconds before saying, "Feldin, California." I looked at him intensely. He must be joking. I looked at him for nearly a minute but he was telling the truth. He didn't even flinch and he had a very stern look on his face. How could I be in California when just later tonight I was in Pennsylvania! Then I finally stared to think about what I could last remember.

There was the fire. My mansion was on fire. I went into the fire to see if I could find eric or my father. I saw a body but it wasn't theirs. Then. What. That girl. Oh yeah that girl. She was in the fire, but calm as hell. Why? Who? Ugggg. Then I felt calm. We started to dance. Why the hell did I dance while my house was bring down!!!? I felt calm then.....then................we flew. We flew!!!!?

My head started to hurt again. "Can you get me some water please," I asked as I put my hand to my head. The bartender got a glass of ice water for me and I drank it like I haven't drunken anything in days. After gulping down all the water I said, "another please," and he got another glass of water for me.

After about four cups of water the burning in my throat stopped and my head wasn't throbing as much. "So, California huh?" I said. "Boy what have you been drinking?" He asked. I lifted up my glass and said, "Water," and smirked at my silly remark. "What day, time, and month is it," I asked just out of curiosity if I was taken by aliens. "You must of had one hell of a night kid." He said. "You don't even know," I replied. "Month is July, day is 14th or Tuesday, and time is now," he looks at his watch, "4:36 a.m." he said. Looks like it is the same day. I thanked him and gave him a moist one doller tip.

I was still confused out of my mind about how the hell I got here, but all I could do now is figure out how to get back home.

I walked outside the bar and the cold air ruffled my damp tux. I shivered and folded my arms as I walked down the road. The stars lit up the night sky. But this sky was diferent, I needed to get home. It became quiet and dark. The only sounds that I could here came from the owls and the chirps of the crickets. It was cold, very cold.

The cold air blew on my back skin, but how I had a tux on. I took off my tux jacket and found that there were two long wholes in it, going down. 'Where did I get this'. I felt another breeze hit back. As cold as it was I had to see. I took off my dress shirt and found the same thing as in the tux, two long up and down rips. When I looked at them more I started to remember how I started to fly in my burning mansion. I remember I grew invisible wings!

A sharp pain emerged from my back in the same places that the wings had grown. It hurt like hell! It felt as if bones in my body were tering my skin and protruding from my body. I fell to the ground in pain and screamed. CRACK!!!! I felt my bones shift in a different position! My muscles tor and I felt my interiors being to explode. But that was just the first part.

I laid face up on the ground unable to make a sound, for my vocal cords had torn along with the rest of my body. Tears flowed down my cheeks at the pain of my bones rearangeing back to where they used to go. Crack! Slosh! I didn't know what was happening but it hurt more than anything in the world. I'm still suprized I'm still alive. I begged for death but it never came. A few minutes went by and my body had, somehow, built itself back together. The pain was over but I still layed on the ground to see if it started up again. A couple minutes later I decided to try to get up. Instead of using my legs, or really any of my body, I started to slowly float up. I stood in shock at what I had just done. 'What the hell should be my new favorite cetch fraze'. I looked down at my body to see if I was still human. 'Yup still human'. I took a step then another and started walking. I stopped and thought of a wonderful exparament. 'If I could do that then I could do other things'. I started to skip then run. I ran as fast as I could and thought of what I wanted to do. 'Fly'.

As I thought the word I started doing it. I ran on air. I cept running and running as if that was what was fueling my flying. I slowly lifted higher and higher until I was above the trees. Mountains came into view and towns far in the distance showed light. I was flying! The cold wind blew in my face and I started to stop running and just let myself fly. My feet behind my and my head in front I flew as fast as a jet. The wind kept going at a constant flow even though I had been going to fast for me even to breath. It was as if a force feild of some kind surrounded my body protecting me. Not only that but I could feel every detail of my invisible wings. It was amazing. I could control the way my wings worked and moved and functioned. My muscles were now able to control them, unlike when that girl and I where danceing above the flames. 'That explains why I didn't go through that crazy pain game the last time. That means my wings have a mind of there own, so they could have flown my all the way here'. Everything seemed to be makeing more sense except........her. 'Did she give me this power? Did she start the fire? Where is Eric and my father?' All of these questions, I wanted to have answered. But one of the most important ones that bugged me the most. 'What did my father want to say to me that time I talked to him in my room?'
