Chapter 5 (author's birthday!)

Maine Mendoza~
I woke up with a hard rain. Really? Is that how I start the day? I turned on my bedroom's TV and it said there are no classes for now in Bulacan, so we don't have classes. Someone knocked at my door. "Maine, wake up! We have a visitor!" I can say it's Mom because it's a girly voice. Or Louise. I don't know. I looked at the mirror with a natural straight hair (why does my hair do not get ruffled) with natural red lips. I changed my clothes into pink skirt and pink t-shirt. When I was gonna go tie my hair into ponytail, someone suddenly shouted "Maine! Rush up!" Then I tied my hair and went out. From here I can already see a boy. I can't tell because he's back is facing me. They're eating breakfast. I sat at the couch and-- is that Alden?!

"Alden? What are you doing here?!" I asked shockingly.

He chuckled and pinched my cheeks. "Is that how you greet your visitors?"

"Just tell me why are you here!" I asked shyly. We are arguing in front of my parents. They are just laughing. Why on the Earth are they laughing?

"Okay, okay," he smiled, showing his deeeeeeep dimples. "Bored." I was about to hit him when suddenly Louise came.

"Alden! I'm glad you're here!" She greeted then sat beside Alden. Okay, strange feelings. Alden didn't bother to greet her back when our parents said, "You know what? I think it's time to shuffle our chairs!"

Alden giggled. "Best idea, Aunt Isadora."

"Okay then! Let me just prepare iced tea for all of you. This is my present to Isadora." Dad said. Oh Goodness.

Mom giggled. "Thank you, Dodong. Now, shuffling time!" Louise looked annoyed. "Maine, sit there," then I sat where she pointed. "Alden, sit beside Maine," I knew this was gonna happen. "Louise, sit besi-"

"I don't wanna eat," she walked out. I sighed. She changed. Everything was ready and we're all ready to eat. Dad and Mom has a buko juice with a straw of two, and Alden and I the same. Is it gonna happen again?

We ate. It was buko juice time!

How is it so? Seeing your sister and your crush sipping juice in one juice, happy together? I think that just really hurts. I ran to my bedroom and locked myself in. I released my anger and cried a lot. I turned my back and saw wine. Hmm. That's a great idea. Alden will be mine in a few minutes. Later this night.
