Cecilia's POV

I silently walked to my room when Jaebum called my name from downstairs, I turned around to face him a bit worried since he hasn't really scolded me or whatsoever, "Are you okay?" He asked really calmly, to my surprise, "I was worried sick because of you, I'm sorry if I raised too much my voice at you but you have to understand that I'm still an older brother who cares about his little sister," his small eyes disappeared into a warming smile, "I know, I lost track of time and my phone ran out of battery, I'm really sorry, it won't happen again," I sincerely told him, "Goodnight," he replied and I wished him goodnight as well.

3rd PERSON'S POV

After leaving Cecilia's house, Mark walked slowly back home as the fresh wind messed his hair.
He sighed heavily as he approached his house and after he had unlocked the door of his house he went to take a cold shower, it was all he needed in that moment.
Cecilia popped in his mind and how Jaebum was sincerely worried about her when she wasn't getting back that late at night.

Anyway he headed to his room's bathroom, he took off his clothes, threw them on the small table and entered the shower.

The only sounds you could hear was his breath and the running water.

Every kind of thoughts crossed his mind.
It has been and tough day.

After 30 minutes of shower he decided to get out.
He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his nice toned abs covering his legs till his knees.
He stroke his hair with another towel and checked his reflection on the mirror.

When he got out of the bathroom, the cold air coming from outside made him shiver.
"I forgot to close the windows," he shook his head.
He walked to the window, water dripping from his still wet hair, as he pulled the curtains away to close the window, he saw his older brother Andrew getting back, he was coming out of the garage and whistled some random song he was probably listening in the car.

Cecilia's words suddenly crossed his mind: he has always wanted to get closer again to his brothers, he missed all the time they spent together, fighting, playing, kidding around, but why did everything change?
As he thought of this he closed the window, "I've got to talk to him," with his mind set he pulled the curtain close again.

He opened a drawer and got his underwear, in another one he grabbed a dark blue shirt and a pair of sweatpants.
He looked amazing as he always did, he didn't need to put effort into his style, he looked perfect with whatever.
His terrible sense of fashion also got him the nickname of 'Fashion terrorist' from Bambam who is a fashionista and who has that much of clothes that they could fill Mark's whole house.

He walked with quick steps to the kitchen where his brother was swallowing a glass of cold water.
He looked up at his younger sibling with a slightly raised eyebrow, he finished his drink in a blink of an eye.
"Mh?" Andrew hummed.
Mark invited the other boy to talk for a bit and obviously Andrew accepted so he followed the younger brother into the living room sitting next to him on the couch.

The air was heavy and the sound of the sudden rain outside wasn't helping at all.
"Tell me Mark," Andrew spoke not because he was pissed off with Mark but he couldn't handle that awkward atmosphere anymore.

Then only pure silence followed Andrew's words and he was patiently waiting for his brother's reaction.
When he lost any hope for a serious talk, Mark decided to let him hear his voice again.

"I am sorry," three words escaped from Mark's mouth and they sounded so unfamiliar to Andrew.
It has been a long time since Mark apologized for something.
Or even just said more than two words to his siblings.

When Andrew was finally back to reality he managed to work an answer for his brother sudden apologize.
"For what?" He asked, looking at him with a puzzled yet happy expression.
"For hating you. For accusing you to cheat on me with my girlfriend. For all the bad things I had done to you in the past years," Mark's voice was reduced to a whisper and he was on the verge of tears.

"Mark, I wanted you to forgive me first. Then I could forgive myself too. I'm happy that you finally forgave me. I'm sorry too, for too many things: for not being here, for not helping you when you needed me, or us. I was scared that you hated me the most, I would have tried to explain to you the whole situation, how I wasn't cheating on you, how it was just a misunderstanding, but I wouldn't blame you," the other boy's words made Mark's eyes teary.
But he is a man. 'And men don't cry' his mom used these words to calm Mark when he was younger and crying like a fountain.

But this was a special moment.
He finally made up with his brother after so many years: "We are ok now right?" Andrew laughed it off noticing Mark's teary eyes.

"Yes. I missed all the times when we laughed and joked like this," Mark said smiling sincerely to his brother.
"I think that the main change that happened to you is Cecilia. After you met her you changed," Andrew commented making Mark think.
"Yeah maybe," he replied in a questioning tone, he knew he did but he wasn't ready to admit it.

And now there's one more thing he needed to do and that would be: making up with Joey.

-

Mark woke up really early and he was humming to some songs in the kitchen while making breakfast.
He was happy. Really happy, which was rare till yesterday night.
He called for Joey when he heard footsteps from upstairs and a shutting door sound: he knew exactly it was Joey.

On the other hand Joey stared at his younger brother as you'd do when you see a psycho.
What happened after had Joey doubting the reality: "Joey, I need to talk to you" needless to say how much the older brother was shocked.

Joey sat at the dining table waiting for Mark to come and join him.
Meanwhile he was wondering what was the topic about and played with his fingers manically.
Maybe Cecilia? It could be, but there was no way he could search for him to discuss about something that had to do with Mark's life.

"Hyung," again Mark called him, this time in Korean.
"What's the matter Mark?" Joey was more than nervous, you could tell if you'd see him playing with the stripes of the ripped jeans.

"I wanted to apologize," Mark spoke, seeing his brother's reaction he immediately continued talking "I mean... I'm sorry for the accident."
"Mark, I'm not upset with you. I have never been upset with you. Yeah when you broke the necklace I was angry. But I fixed it, I thought you couldn't forgive me," the second Tuan family's son was sincere and Mark could feel it.
"Then what about a nice lunch at our favourite place?" Joey proposed and Mark was totally in, "Yeah, definitely," Mark's heart was so happy that it could explode inside of his chest.
Finally after years and years he could talk to his brother like they used to do, it was awkward obviously, but he couldn't ask for more, his brothers were everything for him and when everything fell apart, Mark's whole world became dust in front of his eyes.
He had always been the shy type and he found it difficult to make friends and something changed about him, he became what he was.

"Mark, isn't something burnt? Because I totally smell it," Joey scrunched his nose, "Oh shit! Breakfast!" Mark cursed and shot up from his seat making the chair fall and as if he was running for his dear life he reached the kitchen where the eggs were dark, "Shall we have brunch instead?" Joey patted his shoulders laughing silently, "Yeah," Mark replied pouting, "Let's call Andrew too."
