When the doctor came out everyone rushed next to him, "How's my sister?"

The doctor pushed his glasses back, "She's fine, you don't have to worry anymore, now she is fast asleep, you can come back tomorrow morning, I need to finish checking all her clinical records and I'll call you back."
Jaebum was given a paper he had to fill with all his information "I suppose you're her brother," the doctor tapped a pen on the paper signaling Jaebum to fill it, he nodded and proceeded writing.

No one was able to speak a word after they got out of the hospital.
Jaebum called a taxi and they got home, Mark stayed at Jaebum's since they were all tired and so was Mark.

When they wake up they're going to the hospital again and listen to what the doctor has to say.

"Rest well," Sky said before disappearing in her room, but possibly she was the one that will sleep the least.

At the hospital

Cecilia opened her eyes slowly but everything around her looked blurry.
"What?" She blurted while rubbing her eyes, the nurse noticed and immediately entered the room, "Miss Lim? You're currently at the hospital, the doctor is not here now, if you need anything let me know I'll get it for you," she was being really nice to Cecilia.
"Water," Cecilia's voice could be barely heard and only now she noticed how tired she was, it was difficult to even put a couple of words together but for now she couldn't care about being rude.
Her throat was ver dry, she felt her lips parched and she noticed an IV bag hanging at her side and only later noticed a needle in her arm.

The nurse went immediately to get a bottle of water and a glass and poured it for Cecilia.
After she drank she felt slightly better but no where near feeling like a human instead of an energy-deprived dry leaf.
She closed her eyes, the nurse took the hint and left.

Cecilia tried to proceed everything that happened in the last couple of hours, but she didn't know how much has passed since she left the club, nor how she got out of there: memories were blurry, was she even at a party last night?
She tried to think harder and her head started pulsing again, maybe she hit her head somewhere hence why she was at the hospital and she had a bad headache.

Not being able to tell the time was making her anxious, not being able to remember what happened to her was making her nervous but she had to stop all these thoughts and rest: the headache was killing her.

Some time later, around 11 o' clock Jaebum and Mark arrived at the hospital, Sky went to buy her friend some fruit and snacks.

The two boys ran up the stairs as the elevator wasn't working, "I had an appointment with Doctor Kang at 11:15," Jaebum explained to a nurse that came out of a room on the 4th floor, she nodded "It's just three doors away, make sure to knock harder, when the doctor is deep down in his thoughts he doesn't hear the word around him," she giggled a little as if her joke was hilarious, the two boys smiled politely and thanked her before walking away.

Mark knocked vigorously on the door as the nurse they had just met told them to.
Not long after a reply came and they entered the room, the doctor seemed much brighter and welcoming than last night.
"Good morning doctor, I'm Lim Cecilia's brother," Jaebum explained.
"Ah Yeah! I remember, sorry for my rudeness of last night but you see, three consecutive night shifts have worn me out, it wasn't my intention to scare you away," he laughed cutely.

Now that they were somehow more rational the doctor seemed in his early 50s, but the way he acted made him look like a lovely grandpa.
"Well you see, there's nothing much about your sister but apparently, from her clinic history, it doesn't seem the first time that she had blacked out this way, sure this time was much worse than last time but it shouldn't happen anymore if she gets regular check-ups, I've already talked to your sister, and she seemed rather surprised about this whole thing, I'm in no position to tell other families how to act in front of their loved ones but I believe you should tell her all that has happened, she was rather trouble for not being able to help me out and tell me what happened when she was around 5," he smiled at the last part.
"I understand doctor, so my sister isn't in danger right?" Jaebum held his breath till now and didn't notice until he had to breathe in order to talk.

"Yeah rest assured young boy, your sister is as strong as a rock, she'll be fine, and the other good looking one here, I suppose you're her boyfriend: stay with her, keep an eye on her and just be what a boyfriend is supposed to be," he laughed warmly as if he was giving advice to his grandsons.

"Cecilia?" Jaebum and Mark were finally able to see her again, "Jaebum! Mark!" Cecilia greeted happily, she was so glad to see familiar faces and most of all: being able to see again.
"Does your head still hurt? Are you okay?" Mark rushed to her bed and held her hand, he forgot for a second that Jaebum was behind them and kind of glaring at the two, "Ahem!" He coughed.

Mark immediately let go of her hand, "W-We were worried, Yeah worried," he seemed a little awkward and taken aback by his sudden action.
Cecilia giggled a little "I'm okay now, don't worry about me, but well there's one thing I really wanted to know, what did the doctor mean that this wasn't the first time it happened? When had it already happened? I don't remember anything like this happened to me since I came to Korea," she was still calm, she swore to herself that whatever Jaebum said it wouldn't have angered her.

Jaebum glanced at Mark and he got the message, "I'll get something to drink, he right back," he excused himself and walked away.

"When you were 5 you were kidnapped at the park by an ex-worker at dad's company, after a few days being tied and starved you went into a state of shock, when you woke up at the hospital we noticed that you had lost all the memories of the last 2 years, which wasn't a big deal to us, but when after a few months you lost consciousness and stayed at the hospital for a week, again you erased everything that happened in the few months from your first accident, we were afraid it would happen again but it didn't." Well it did not up until then.

Honestly speaking Cecilia felt like it was some sort of drama, it didn't sound real "Are you serious? And why you never talked to me about something like that?" She was angry because she didn't remember a single thing and nothing seemed to help her retrieving her lost memories: 2 and a half years worth of memories gone, bye, adios.

They stayed in silence until Mark came back, he felt the thickness of the atmosphere, he gulped "I-I brought some food," he stuttered and offered both of them a sandwich.

None of the siblings wanted to talk, Jaebum was devoured by guilt while Cecilia was still processing whatever her brother just told her.
Mark looked back and forth between the two and proceeded walking in circles in the room, scanning the whole place from the top to the bottom when Sky arrived, for sure she could have saved this really awkward situation.
"Hey sorry, I couldn't come faster because there was heavy traffic" she put a few plastic bags down, one of them contained some fresh fruit, another one contained some drinks and snacks.

She knew that the situation was not looking good, but she played it off really well by cupping Cecilia's cheeks and pulling the sides of lips up in a smile, "Now that's much better, I stopped the nurse outside and she told me you're alright so don't pout or frown!"

Did she also know about Cecilia's random blackouts? Obviously she did, but she didn't think much of it as she was very young when it happened.
Cecilia decided not to ask her, the more she knew, the angrier she got, the more desperate for those lost memories she was.
Now was not the right time to ask, maybe later, maybe when this whole thing will become a dark chapter in the past, then at that point she will ask.

It's almost Christmas everyone, so: Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate it.
