Today is the day!
I smiled at Tascha "I'm so excited babe!" She grabbed my hand "me too" I leaned over and kissed her cheek. I squeezed her hand as we rode to the airport. I leaned my head on her shoulder.
As we arrived in Texas I turned and kissed Tascha "babe we are home!" She smiled back at me and helped me out to be greeted by our wonderful family. We did a huge group hug and then all left to do the unpacking party. We bought another house here it's very similar to the house in Cali. It's large open floor plan and beautiful bedrooms. My favorite thing is in the baby's room we have a huge window seat so we can both lay on it with our little angel whenever. We are close to my parents house which Maddie is most excited about she can walk to our house.
We all arrived at the house and started to unpack surprisingly I was not too tired and actually contributed. We had already had someone set up furniture and stuff so it's more so clothing and personal stuff.
Since we don't know the gender of the baby yet we haven't done much with the nursery. We are gonna find out soon though and I'm freaking out I'm just so excited! All I know is I hope it is a beautiful heathy baby! If it's a boy we will teach him to be a great man and if it's a girl we will teach her to be an independent woman!
I was pulled from my thoughts as Maddie skipped past me singing "pizza is my favorite treat it's just so perfect to eat!" I laughed that girl cracks me up! I followed behind her assuming that her singing meant that pizza was here. I walked out of my room and started down the stairs when Tascha showed up in front of me "hey beautiful I was just gonna come get you". I smiled "well you found me" she kissed my lips "I sure did". She took my hand "I'm guessing you heard Mad sing that pizza was here". I giggled "yeah she's gonna be such a great aunty I just can't wait!" She pecked my cheek "I know!"
We walked into the kitchen as my mom was handing out paper plates "no need to have a bunch of dishes your first night here". I smiled and kissed her on the cheek "thanks mom your the best!" She flipped her hair "I know I'm just so amazing!" I laughed and Tascha smiled "Momma D you really are amazing I love you so much!" My moms smile exploded as she hugged my wife "yeah I knew I loved this girl for a good reason" we all laughed at my mom but I just felt so blessed in the moment I got so lucky to find this woman and that she is so easily a part of my family our family I just love my life!
Laughter filled my ears "Demi did you hear me?" I shook my head "huh?" My beautiful wife giggled more "apparently not, what do you want to drink?" I giggled realizing I zoned out "sorry babe I was just getting lost in my thoughts about how much I love my life. Oh, Um can I have some green tea pretty please!" Tascha smiled "anything for you my love" she reached in the refrigerator and poured some into a cup and took a sip before handing it to me. I giggled she is so cute without even trying I might just adore her too much but I don't care. I took a sip and pecked her lips "thanks cutie!" She laughed and we all ate and chit chatted about names for the baby and random stuff. It was late by the time we had enough stuff unpacked to call it a night we only have a few random things left really so we got a lot done.
After everyone left we showered and headed off to bed both of us ready for sleep. I winced as I laid down my back suddenly hurting "fuck". Tascha was instantly in panic mode "what's wrong Demi!" I sighed and grabbed her hand trying to calm her down "my back is killing me all of a sudden". I sat up unable to keep laying down. Tascha instantly lifted my shirt up to look at my back and lightly touched it. I sighed "babe please don't worry I'm oOh-fuck!" A sharp pain ran though to my lower stomach and I leaned forward into it. Tascha jumped up and looked at me "can I pick you up I'm gonna take you to the hospital!" I winced "I don't know it hurts". She sighed "just dig your nails in if it hurts too much okay?" I nodded scared out of my mind I had enough problems with being sick and passing out I didn't want anything else to happen. Tascha looked at me and leaned down picked me up and carried me. I cried out as more pain shot around my back. She rushed to the hospital and shouted for help instantly a nurse came up to us with a wheelchair. I cried out as the pain shot up my stomach. Tascha spoke "she is pregnant and is in a lot of pain!" The nurse looked at me "where does it hurt?" I felt the tears come streaming down my cheeks "it is sharp shooting pain down in my lower back and it wraps around to my lower stomach." The nurse nodded and started to wheel me into a room Tascha following till the nurse said "are you family?" I grabbed Tascha's hand "she's my wife she stays with me!" Tascha squeezed my hand and looked at the nurse who just shut up and continued on down the hallway. She got me in a room and Tascha helped me into the hospital gown and the nurse brought the obgyn in and she smiled lightly at me. She sat next to me "hello my name is Dr. Rose I am gonna make sure everything is okay alright?" I nodded she smiled "good can you tell me your name and where it hurts and how it hurts?" I nodded and squeezed Tascha's hand my anxiety starting to overwhelm me "I-I-my name is Demi and I-I am having vverry sharp pains in my lower back and stomach." I started to breathe heavier as more tears came to the surface. Tascha turned me to look at her "Demi listen to me everything is going to be okay calm down breathe with me baby you are stronger than the anxiety attack okay?" I nodded as she placed my hand on her chest and took deep breaths making me match her. The doctor looked to us "wow you guys are something else so do you have any other illnesses besides anxiety?" I nodded "I have bi polar depression as well". The doctor noted that on the folder in her hands. She looked at me "okay let's take a look". I squeezed Tascha's hand as the doctor got the machine ready. I rolled up the hospital gown and she put some cold gel on my tummy and lightly pressed the machine to it. She sighed as she looked at the machine making me worry even more! She looked to us "have you been doing anything laborious or been stressed out?" I sighed "well I mean we just moved here today and unpacked a bunch". Tascha looked at me with sad eyes like she was blaming herself for not forcing me to relax today. I squeezed her hand as the doctor spoke "it looks like you over did it and put some stress on her making false contractions occur, everything looks okay so I can give you some medicine for the pain and to help you relax but you are strictly on bed rest and how bout you stay the night so we can keep an eye on her?" I looked at the doctor tears filling my eyes "her" I whispered. I felt so much joy we are going to have a baby girl! I looked at Tascha "her" she smiled down at me and kissed my forehead "her". The doctor looked down shyly "I'm sorry I thought you guys already knew I wasn't thinking I am so sorry if I ruined the surprise." I smiled "no no no we were going to find out soon anyways and it's actually helping me that I know it gives me something to think about and relax into daydreams ." She smiled "okay still I should have asked." Tascha laughed "yeah sure you are supposed to be perfect at 1 am!" She giggled "you are human and really great actually so don't worry about it." She smiled "you both are too sweet I'm gonna go grab that medicine anything else you guys want or need?" I looked at Tascha and we both said "no thank you" at the same time. She giggled and left us with a printed out simple picture of our baby girl. I smiled up at Tascha as she looked down at the black and white picture in my hand. She glanced to me and I saw the tears in her eyes. I scooted over and patted the bed. She sniffled then slowly and carefully laid down with me holding me gently. She kissed my cheek "Demi I was so scared, I thought something could be wrong and I was gonna loose both of you. God I love you so you are not allowed to go anywhere yet okay we have to grow old together no more scaring me." I rubbed my thumb over the back of her hand "baby everything is okay we are all fine please stop thinking about the what ifs." She looked at me and I could see she was still overthinking so I kissed sweet and simple. She smiled "thanks Dems", I smiled "I love you baby I'm not going anywhere I promise." She held me closer carefully the doctor came back in and giggled at the sight of us sharing the bed. Tascha held my hand as Dr. Rose gave me the medicine. I looked at her as she finished "thank you oh can we get one of those 3D video pictures of her tomorrow?" I looked down at my belly and smiled as I rubbed it. She threw her gloves away "of course now rest up I along with the nurses will check up on you okay?" I nodded "thank you Dr.Rose." She left us and I cuddled into Tascha more as the medicine made me feel drowsy. Tascha played with my hair as I drifted off thinking of how beautiful the little girl inside me is and how spoiled she will be. I smiled as I thought of ways to tell my family Mads especially. I yawned as I snuggles closer and my thoughts faded into dreams.
