Your walking to the office, it's around 12 and you only woke an hour ago. You yawn as you open the shoji door to the office, you spot Matsumoto first, sitting at her desk. Doing her work?
"Matsumoto?" you blink, and then your gaze falls on your captain, you scratches away at the paper, writing something.
"Matsumoto is doing her work today" Toshiro says, not looking up, "your not needed today ____, your excused"
You feel a pang in your heart and blink again, a little taken aback by your captains words. You don't respond at first, your mouth open but no words coming out.
It's then that you realise that comment hurt more then it should have.
"Taichou~!" Matumoto scolds, "you don't talk to someone like that, especially a friend!"
"Friend?" Toshiro repeats, looking up from his work finally, his eyes bored as they land on you. "I will address third seat ____ as is needed Matsumoto"
That one hurt too.
"I said your excused ____," Toshiro sighed, his eyes barely glancing over you as he went back to his work.
"Um, ur.. yes sir" You manage between all the confusing thoughts swimming through your head. "I-I'll just be.. well.. yeah.." You spin on your heel and shut the shoji door jus as Toshiro peers up, curious about the slight stutter in your voice.
But your already retreating away fro the office.
"That was.. um" You think aloud, "a little strange.." You shunpo from the barracks, and arrive at your house, you quickly get inside and hide in your room, pulling a book free from the pile of unread books beside your bed.
After a few hours of reading, and your heart feeling a little better, not quite so affected by his off handed remarks, you put the book down.
"Those comments hurt ore then they should have" you sigh and leave your house, making your way back to the barracks, around 7pm.
Getting there you open the shoji door and notice no one's inside.
"No one huh?" you ask yourself, then you jump onto the couch and sprawl. You breathe deeply, the smell of toshiro filling your nose, you snuggle into it and sigh with content.
"____?"
You fall from the couch as a voice pipes up from directly next to the sofa.
"Toshiro!?" You yell, glaring at your Captain as he came around the couch and stood by your head. "You jerk! don't surprise me like that! not cool!"
"What are you doing here anyways?"
You shrug, "bored"
"By the way.. about.. earlier" he mumbled the last part and you rase a brow, "well.. i aplogise if my words where too strong"
You smile softly and grab his ankle, puling it he tumbles backwards with a yelp. "____!!!"
"Hahaha" you laugh, "I thought the atmosphere was too heavy so i lightened it!"
"Too light i think!" Toshrio yelled as an irk mark appeared on his head and he hit you over the head with a strong fist.
"Ow! hahaha!" you laugh again, enjoying your time with him. "Don't worry captain, while they may have caught me off guard, I wouldn't doubt you for a second!"
He blushed slightly at this, and a small frown formed. "Shut up, idiot"
