Adalines POV

I woke up to my alarm blasting in my ear.

Finally going back to school.

I didn't go to school yesturday because I literally cracked my head open.

My whole day yesturday consisted of my sleeping. And eating. And watching Netflix.

I got out of bed and took a ice cold shower. Got to wake up some way.

I got dressed. Im wearing a cream colored wool sweater, a black skirt, black combat boots, a black infinity scarf with white hearts on it, and a black bow. I also curled my hair.

I got to make my grand entrance for be gone for day.

I trotted downstairs only to be greeted by my mum. Of course cooking breakfast. You could hear the sizzling of the greasy bacon. The bubbling of the eggs soon to be fluffy. And the Ding of the toaster burning toast. Yum.

I sat at the table ready to eat. Mum places the plate right infront of me. I start to dig in. Finishing my last bite I look at my watch. 7:40!

"OH MY GOD! I HAVE TO GO!" I yelled. I stood up and literally pounced for my skatebaord.

"BYE MUM LOVE YOU!" I yelled running out the door.

I threw my skatebaord to the ground and started down the road.

I reach school finally. I walk inside and walk straight to my locker. As Im walking I see Kian. He stares at me. Why was he staring at me. I mean we have only talked twice.

I get to my locker and open it. I set my skateboard in it and grab my books.

Someone walks up and slams my locker shut.

"What the hell people have to stop doing that!" I yelled to see who the person was.

Stacy.

"Hey. So I was just hanging with Kian and noticed who he was texting." She said playing with her nails. She then looks up at me with this Your-going-to-die face.

"I told you to stop and you didnt. I told you what would happen if you didnt." She said

All of the sudden her friends shoved me into the bathroom.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU." She said punching and kicking me. "HE IS MINE SO BACK OFF"

"He texted me first" I said stuttering my words.

"IDGAF" She said kicking me in the face causing me to bleed.

"Leave him alone" She siad kicking me one last time. And walking out.

Cora came into the bathroom and saw me on the ground.

"OMG ADI!" she yelled as she came to pick me up.

"Come on we got to go to the nurse!" She said.

WE got out of the bathroom and started walking to the halls. Everyone was staring. Some laughing, others really concernd. Then I saw Jackson.

"ADI!" he said, taking me from Cora. He picked me up bridal style and took me to the nurse.

"What happend?" He asked me on the way there.

"It....was.....Stacy" I said. Then I blacked out.

I woke up in the bed at the nurses.

"Ahh Adaline your awake." The nurse said walking in.

"What happend?" I asked holding my head.

It hurt so bad. Then I rememberd. Stacy and her gang kicking me for talking to Kian.

"You got hurt sweetie. Im going to send you home. Since your parents arent home Jackson offered to take you home." She replied.

I looked at the window and saw Jackson there sitting, waiting, nervously.

I got up and walked out. He stood up.

"Hey Adi are you oka-" He started to say but i interuppted him wtih a huge hug.

"Thank you for taking me here and then taking me home." I said my face buried in his warm, muscular chest.

"No problem" He siad hugging me back.

He helped me to his car. He has a really nice car. His family is kind of rich so... Nice car XD

I got in the passenger side and he got in the drivers seat.

"So im hungry. You?" He asked

"Yea food is good." I replied shrugging.

"Cool we are going to get food." He said.

"What?" I said surprised.

"You know what food is right?"

"Yea but I dont want you to pay for me."

"To bad. You got hurt." He said.

"Fine. But I owe you."

"Deal." He said

WE drove to starbucks. We got out of the car. Me limping and him behind me helping me walk, we walked inside.

"Here you go find a seat and Ill order." He said

I nodded and sat down at a booth. I started tearing up a little thinking about Kians awful Girlfriend. She hurt me so badly. A tear slid down my face.

"Hey Im ba- you okay?" Kian said sitting down at the booth.

"Yea im fine" I said. "Thanks for the food."

"No problem." He said.

HE started eating. I stared at him. He was cute. WOAH! Do I have feelings for Jackson? He is really nice. And cute. And funny. Adnd perfect. WOAH! Maybe?

"What? Is there something on my face." He asked me. I finally came out of la la land.

"What. Oh no. Just you have really pretty eyes." I said awkwardly.

"Thanks" He said chuckling. "You do to"

The rest of the time we just talked about school and hobbies and such.

He finally dropped me off at my house. He helped me walk up to the porch.

"SooooOOooooOOoooOOooo." he said

"so" I replied mocking him.

Im about to open my door when I feel a pair of hands wrap around me.

"Thank god your okay." He said.

I smiled. "You smell good"

"Thanks" He said chuckling.

He finally let me go.

"See you around." He siad waving goodbye.

"Bye" I said waving.

I walked inside. I ran up to my room and passed out on my bed.
