This is the last chapter of the story, but don't worry there's a sequel coming. Carry on......

Monique Pov

Ever since that little surprise Tre set up, we have gotten closer to each other, and to God, letting him be a center focus, and guide our relationship.

Mina and Nat are still going strong. They've just hit the three year mark. They've come a long way.

Marcus and Candice are still together, and although me and Candice have our differences, I'm happy for them.

Prom is like 2 months away and Tre still hasn't asked me to go with him. I'm starting to doubt if he even wants to go with me. I was in AP English, when the fire alarm sounded. Everyone got up and filed out of the school.

"Monique! Monique Harrison!" I heard someone call through the speakers. I weaved through the crowd. When I got to the middle, I couldn't help but to cheese. I probably looked crazy smiling so hard, but I didn't care. Tre was standing there in his soccer uniform holding some variation of red and white roses and a microphone. A couple of his soccer teammates were in uniform as well on either side of him were bouncing a soccer ball on their knee. People were recording this whole thing.

When he spotted me, he smiled and walked up to me. "These are for you." He hands me the roses. "Monique Harrison, will you goal to prom with me?" I laughed lightly to keep from crying and nodded my head hugging him. "She said yes." I could hear that he had the biggest grin while saying that.

There were rounds of applause and people cheering. I can't believe this is happening. Everyone started to clear out and go back into the school. We had about 15 minutes left so I just stayed outside with Tre.

Sitting on the bleachers I grin while saying "You never cease to amaze me, do you?"

"Aye, you deserve the best and nothing less. So if that means if I wanna do something like this I will because I want to and you deserve it."

"I might deserve this but I definitely don't deserve you. You deserve the universe when I'm just a star. I mean like you have just been treating me so good...."

He placed two fingers on my lips silencing me. "Shhh. Don't speak like that. We deserve each other. Haven't you ever wondered why we keep getting back together after being separated?"

I nodded. "It's because it's fate. And it's funny cuz we always seem to meet up by bumping into each other." We both laughed knowing it because it was dead true.

"And I don't know how but you found me and saved my life risking yours in the process. I call that fate. You came to my Christmas dinner, and let's just say I got a little extra on my plate."

I blushed while trying to hide it. "Shut up."

"And at that News Years' party you threw we kinda fell off, but reconnected around that spring but it wasn't long before we fell off again. Fate. But then guess what happened at the end of that years' summer?"

I giggled. "We got back together again."

"That's right, fate, and remember that fall we took a break then got back together a couple months after that party I threw. Fate, and now look at us, still together, stronger and closer than ever."
