August
Two days later, I was in my living room ready to make Deuce pay for killing my girl.
"You know if we do this, you're starting a war, right?"
I looked at Ace.
"We?"
Sarcastically, Ace laughed while licking the blunt he had just finished rolling.
"Yeah, we. You think I'm gon let you do this shit by yourself?"
I smiled on the inside. No matter how young Ace was, he had been loyal as Hell since we linked up.
Since copping from Deuce's connect three months ago, Ace and I had successfully set up a trap house deep in the East somewhere.
In that three months, I was able to give Kayjah the money she loaned me.
Now I was back to my regularly scheduled program; living, shopping, taking care of my family, and paying off my mom's crib.
Though Ace certainly put in more work in the streets, he treated me more like his boss than his partner.
I guess because I was older than him and put in more bread than him, he gave me that respect.
"Besides, I think Deuce foul as Hell. He went too far."
Ace looked at me cautiously. He knew that this subject of conversation was too sensitive for me.
"I'm riding with you all the way, homie. But are you sure ?"
It was no question. Deuce had ducked up my entire life, and even my son's.
Yes, I was still living, but I was a shell of the man that I once was. I was raising my son and living life, but it was all in a daze.
All of my unconditional happiness for life was buried with Teyanna. I made good money, provided for my son, and had a loyal woman by my side.
But none of that was able fill a void that I walked around with every day.
If I had to live with this feeling of death everyday, then it was only responsible the the mu'fuckas responsible for it felt it too.
"It's no question."
Ace sat back and pulled out the blunt.
It was definitely something to mediate on. We were about to go to war with the man we used to work for, with the man that raised both of us.
"Just Deuce?"
"Smoke, Sneak, Black, all'em too. Deuce was in jail when Teyanna was murdered, so one of his niggas had to do it."
A noise could be heard in the hallway before Ace could respond. We quickly quieted put scheming until the coast was clear.
Eventually, the rumbling in the hallway stopped, but Ace still leaned in and spoke in a much lower tone.
"So how we gon do this? You just trying to pop these niggas or what? They can't be hard to find."
"No, when I say war, I mean war. I'm going through they spots and taking shit. I'm causing a drought. I'm shooting up blocks... Then, I'm killing them niggas."

Kayjah
I was pissed. Both Andre and August could kiss my ass with their undying devotion to these hoes.
My fingers pounded on the keyboard like stiletto heals on pavement. I was livid.
I typed Andre a lengthy email fill of hatred towards his smug ass, his 'precious wife', and their bound to be funny looking bundle of joy.
