An odd beginning.

Chapter 7:metals way

So anyway I found out that to make the stronger potion I need to get some glowing mushrooms,so I need to go underground,"So Lee you coming with me."I asked Lee"No I'm gonna go home and work on my rocket."Lee answered"oh ok I'll go alone."I told him.
(5 hours later)
I'm in a cave holding a torch and a pickaxe I'm mining around for a glowing mushroom cave then I'll get the mushrooms to make a stronger potion.I broke a stone wall and found what I was looking for,I cut the mushrooms and put them in a bag.I was about to walk out when I saw something on the ground it was a little glowing worm I decided I would get it for decoration in the barrack so I got a jar,caught it,and got on my way.

I was on my way back when I saw it was turning night"Damn I didn't make it I'll have to fight my way back"I said to my self.I was gonna get some water to drink from a stream when it turned red,I threw the flask down and started to run"shit shit shit why tonight."I yelled as I pulled my sword out and cut a zombies head off,I was about 10 minutes from the base and there was a giant horde of zombies and monsters outside,but I had an idea I pulled out my sword and killed a zombie ripped out its guts and rubbed it on myself to cloak myself from the others.I walk through the zombies and reach the base"hey open the gate"I say to a guard"no the monsters will get in"the guard says.
And that's when it happened all the monsters swarmed in and broke the gates.
