An odd beginning.

Chapter 4:The war

It has been 5 years after the explosion that turned the world to rubble.Me,Metal,and lee somehow survived the explosion although we were in front of it,but Ginger and all my companions did not. lee's family Red and Vanessa were trapped in a bunker under ground,the blast welded the exit and they can't get out if they don't get out soon they might starve to death.Metal well he lost everything all he had was the sheep sanctuary and because the blast happened there it was all destroyed.
"Get me those troops." said a voice on the intercom later some guards came down and to get me,Metal,and lee.They led us to a big wooden door with two harpy heads beside it.The door opened and we saw Ethan the leader of the rebellion he was wearing a necro armor which is made from cobwebs and bones "Hello I am", "Ethan." I cut him off."Yes,yes I am,it has come to my attention that you are my best troops and I have an assignment for you all." He said standing up and walking to get some water."What is it?" Lee asked in a small whisper"Your assignment is to go to the dungeon not to far from here,there have been monsters coming from there for a while." Ethan said "woah that's to far away for me what if red and Vanessa get out and I'm not around then they get hurt from monsters!!!","You do as I say!" Ethan and lee argued for some minutes before yelling interrupted them from outside.We all ran outside and since we all lost our gear we had to use what we scraped from the wreckage I found an antic gold sword that had belonged to my grandfather,a musket,a flintlock,but because ammo is scarce and we have no supplies to make I rarely shot,and some poisoned throwing knives.lee had put everything he had on his spaceship before the explosion and because his house was in front of it his ship was not damaged but he did have his best gear on during the explosion so he lost that but he got what he could and made it out with a murumasa which is a blue and watery sword,a Phoenix blaster which is a firey gun with more ammo then me or metal.metal had nothing because as I said he had everything in the sanctuary and that's where the explosion happened all he could gather was a hammer,a knife,and the baby sheep he was holding which was more than a sheep he was a warrior.As for Kevin I don't know,what he got was what he had an old cobalt sword one day he said he was leaving we haven't seen him since,but he'll come back he always does.
Returning to the screaming as we all got out the front door and into the courtyard we saw a woman pulling something from a werewolf it was a baby,since there was no time to run to her I threw a poisoned knife at the werewolf it staved into its chest it made a cry as it pulled it out and ran off.We ran over,Ethan conferred the woman lee pulled out his gun and pointed it to the wolf I grabbed the gun and pointed it down."Don't use the bullet the poison should kick in 3 seconds.","raiiicsy" It yelled as it tumbled down the hill."What is a werewolf doing in sunlight I though that burned them to hell."metal asked "It's the dungeon it has an alter that protects them,will you go now lee?" Ethan asked "Looks like I don't have a choice."
(2 hours later)
"Ready?" I asked "Ready." Everyone answered. I grabbed a glow-stick from my backpack *click* it went as I threw it.It went down some stairs then we heard some angry screams as hundreds of skeletons and slimes came up we all pulled out our weapons and charged into the dark I heard bones breaking,armor ripping,gushing slime,shots fired, and most important of all blood flowing.All I saw was black I didn't know if I had my eyes open or closed I felt a foot of gel under my legs I struck the sword against the stone in the dungeon the gel lit up in flames and I climbed a shelf above me I didn't know where metal or lee went,the guard that came with us was dead that's where the blood came from with the fire I saw many things on the ground coins,pieces of armor that the skeletons wore,and most important golden keys I hadn't seen any in a long time they had some kind of curse that made them break once they were used and I saw 10 so I have to use them wisely."Hello." I yelled out the hello echoed around me. I saw a water candle I picked it up and kept walking I found a gold chest I used the key as usual I put it in I turned it and took it out as it turned to dust. I opened the chest and found a flare gun and 28 flares I heard slicing and a bit a water which meant lee was in trouble I ran up and saw lee fighting off 4 werewolf behind him was the alter that Ethan told us to destroy "Help me out here!" I pulled out my musket and aimed at the alter then a zombie pulled on my shirt and made me miss and I hit a werewolf instead I hit the zombie in the head with the musket and broke it neck on the ground I pulled out my flintlock and shot the alter it made the werewolves confused which lee took that moment to cut their heads of in one slice.
When we found Metal he was finishing some slimes and skeletons with his sheep."How you doing?" I asked metal"How do you think." He answered."Did you find the alter?"metal asked "Yeah lee found it,now come on lets get out of here." I said.
(Few hours later)
"How are we supposed to tell Ethan that we got the alter,he said"we had an hour once we got here and the way back is way more than an hour." lee said"Like this." I said pulling out the flare gun with the all ready loaded barrel.I shot it up in the air and few seconds later a big sound came from the base which meant they understood.As we were walking back we felt the ground shaking,seconds later we saw the Eye of chuthulu come out of the ground."Get ready!" I yelled as I pulled out my flintlock and throwing knives,lee pulled out the Phoenix blaster,metal pulled out his hammer and knife,and the goat readied to charge.I shot it and threw a knife then I pulled out my sword and charged,lee shot it 5 times then charged in with the murumasa,the goat rammed it and then started biting the tendons at the back,metal jumped stabbed the knife into the pupil and started whacking it with his hammer.Soon enough it changed forms and a mouth broke out where the pupil was,with that it knocked us all of it then as we all attacked at the same time a beam of light came from the clouds and made the eye explode with coins and ore that we had never seen,And with that we realized there was hope.
