Its too early for this!

BEEP BEEP BEEP! That would be the sound of my alarm nagging me out of bed...on a fucking Saturday. Its too early for this! But me being an idiot I forgot to turn off my alarm. I reluctantly slide the duvet off my legs letting the cold air hit my body, leaving chills down my spine. I shut off the annoying alarm and walk to my window. I can feel the cool air radiating through the glass. As I slide the window open a crack I can hear the birds sing their songs and the autumn breeze blowing the leaves below my window.

I would stay here if I could but now I'm awake and hungry. I grab my clothes and head to my roommates room. "Hey Jeff!" I yell as I approach the door. I can hear shuffling and the opening tune to Legend of Zelda. "Yeah?" I hear him answer groggy. "Want to get breakfast with me later?" I ask quieter through the door. "Nah!" Is all I hear before I wander towards the shower.

I'll just ask Maddie if she wants to go out to the mall today. I make it to the shower making sure to grab my phone on the way. I turn my music in and all the way up. Maddie is my best friend. We've known each other since the 3rd grade and I've liked her since the 7th grade. She doesn't know tho...she probably never will.

In the 7th grade something bad happened...I was bullied. I had dyed my hair pink because my mom had breast cancer and had died from it. So to show my support why not dye my hair pink?! Well throughout all the teasing and bullies Maddie was still there for me. She even came into school one day with blue hair. I don't know if you know this but the bullying awareness ribbon is colored blue. She was there for me when no one else was and I fell for her because of that.

My train of thought was lost when 'Can't Save Myself' by AS IT IS began to play through the speakers. That's about when I got out and I had to fight the urge to sing as I look deep into the mirror.

My hair is longer than most boys but I like it and its dyed blue because "why not". My jawline has a slight chiseled look to it. I have wide framed glasses that show off my bright green eyes. On tumblr I'm deemed and "hot emo boy" but to me I'm just me. I got dressed and looked in the mirror. Yep...the usual band tee and skinny jeans as always. I finally get my bum out of the bathroom and text Maddie.

Hey I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today? Idk what we will do but I'm thinking mall and food?

Heyy yea sure I'd love to!! Taco bell???

Of course! I'm buying!

I look at the clock to see that its 10:13. I'm so terrified! Did I really just ask her out?! Oh my god I did!!!! AND SHE SAID YES!

sooooo this is my first story and I know it sucks but it WILL get better I swear!! Anyways hi I'm Ruby and I love bands speaking of bands AS IT IS is AMAZING you should seriously look them up!!
