Cutest Unicorn Ever

I was frozen in place, phone in my hand, music muffled by my thoughts. What if she doesn't like me? A strong voice said in the back of my mind as if to ask the childish nature that is my confidence the question I feared the most... Well she wouldn't have said yes if she didn't like me!...right? I was now in an argument with my anxiety. I will ruin everything like usual. That's just the anxiety right? I need to stop beating myself up over my looks. Why am I talking to myself anyways? I need to get ready! I run back to the bathroom and fix my hair again. As soon as I'm done fixing all the flaws I see I jog to Jeff's room to let him know he won't need to cook tonight "Hey J-" my call cut short by a note on his door.

"Dear Lex,
I'm going out today and I don't know how long but I met a girl she's extremely hot I'll be out pretty late so don't wait up!

I stick the note to the table and ignore his new girl and my nick name. Jeff has a new girl friend almost every other month. I'm pretty sure his longest relationship was with Maddie. They were together for about six months but Maddie and I thought he was cheating and she ended it.

I look up to see I only have a few minutes left so I run for my keys, wallet and phone and hop in the car. The second I start the car Green Day is blasting through the speakers and I'm on my way to Maddies. I lost track of time and found myself in front of Maddie's door in no time.

My palms were sweaty and I couldn't breath, I felt like I was there forever but I was probably only there for two minute when I heard the door unlock. The door swung open and I saw her standing there...stunning. She was wearing light blue skinny jeans and baby blue Vans and her favorite sweat shirt that said "I'm really a Unicorn" and her hair was laying perfectly on her shoulder...Cutest Unicorn ever!
