My Juliet

"Shall we?" I asked jokingly holding out my elbow.
"We shall" Maddie said linking arms with me. I walked her to the car and did the cliché 'open the door' for the lady thing and jogged around the front of the car and hopped in on my side.

I start the car and I can hear the faint sound of the radio play the first not of my favorite song, Welcome to the Black Parade, and went straight for the volume. Apparently Maddie had the same idean and our hands simply brushed against each other. It was nothing much but just that simple gesture made my heart skip a beat.

"Sorry" she said as she pulled her hand away. "I really like this song." She said biting her lip. Oh damn. "Its fine" I say awkwardly laughing "I love this song too" I say slowly bringing my hand to the dial.

I pulled out and headed towards the mall. As I was driving I kept my eyes on the road...most of the time. She was just so...beautiful. I couldn't help it. I took a turn into the parking lot. Just about every space was taken, and I had to do a bit of a hunt for a spot. I heard Maddie singing along to Nine in the Afternoon by Panic! At the Disco she sounded amazing...well better than me at least.

I finally found a spot and parked the car quickly. We began to walk towards the "teen zoo" as we liked to call it. The sound of teenage girls and their high pitched voices became louder and the sounds of the outside became gradually quieter.

"Starbucks?" I asked Maddie and she nodded. "Yes!" I don't know when it happened but half way to Starbucks I realized I was holding Madds hand. And judging by the blush on her face I grabbed her hand not too long ago.

"Hey! Alex?" I was pued out of my trance "pumpkin spice or usual?" Maddie said smiling. "Uh usual." I hesitated. She ordered and I paid.

I didn't like the cashier. I didn't know why until I followed his gaze to maddie. And just when I was about to look away the dastard winks at her.

"Come on let's go find a seat." She calls as she leads me too a booth. I stayed silent and I guess she caught on to it. "Hey...what's wrong?" She asks worriedly "did I order wrong?" She asks getting flustered. She is so cute. "Uh...no you ordered it just fine" I say not making eye contact.

"Tell me what's wrong then" she says. "Uh its just...the cashier...he uhm...winked at you and..." I stammered. "Alex are you...jealous?" I looked down at the table ashamed. "Hey look at me..." She says softly "that's my cousin...he saw me on this date and that is his way of wishing me good luck." I felt so stupid.
"Alex and Maddie!" I heard from the front.

I walk up and grab out drinks and just before I turn to leave the cashier stops me. "Hey I'm Trevor." He says. "I'm Maddie's cousin and I don't want her getting hurt" I smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't dream of it" I said.

"Hey slow poke!" I whip around and see maddie. Oh god I hope she didn't hear that. "Haha hey" I say nervously "here you go" I say as I hang her what she ordered. "Thank you!" She says with a big smile.

"Maddie...your cup has the wrong name." I point out. "Oh haha yeah...Juliet?" She reads. "How did he managed to get his cousins name wrong?" I say making her laugh. "Well I don't think it was an accident...Romeo" she says with a smirk.

I look down at my cup and there it is.

Romeo.

I guess that's me...I'm glad she is my Juliet.

Let's just hope we don't die at the end.

Whoa!! Surprise update!! I've decided to try and update more lol it is currently 12:12 am and i stayed up to write lol anyways goodnight!!
