Crown Meadow

Clean up on isle 4!

She was silent as I drove. It was almost like she was in shock. She stared straight at the dash board the whole time. It's safe to say that was lost our appetite after seeing THAT. At this point I didn't have a plan at all I was just driving.

The music was playing on the radio but I didn't care to figure out what song when I heard her speak. "I can't believe she did this.." I guess she was blaming Juliana for Jeff being a dumbass. "I can't believe she did this to him..." At this point I come to realize she was not talking to me rather she was thinking out loud.

I guess she did do something to Jeff but I don't think he was protesting by any means. "I hope he is okay..." I kept my eyes on the road but I know she was looking at me. Was she talking about me the whole time?? "Alex?" Crap crap crap I'm not ready to talk yet!!! WHAT DO I SAY???

"Mhm?" A hum was all I could manage. I was too deep in thought. "Can we go to my house?...It's getting late and it works out better because I don't have a car to drive home if we went to your house." Great. Okay. Yes. No objection here. And not that way! Ya nasties!

"Yeah of course...wanna stop at Wal-Mart and raid the place for snacks?" I smiled wide remembering when we did this when we were younger. "I don't know...only is we can get Swedish Fish and Snow Caps!" She giggles. "Do you honestly think that we can watch movies all night without being hyped up on the best candy ever??" I pretended to be offended and put my hand on my chest.

"TO WALLY WORLD!" she screams. I just chuckle...that's right, I chuckled! It's a manly giggle get over it! And with that we were headed to Wal-Mart.

I don't even think I had parked the car completely before she hopped out of the car and ran around to my side of the car. "Come on. Hurry up slow poke! My grandma moves faster than you!" I walk toward her hunched over like an old man. "Now listen her young lady..." I said in my best old man voice. "I'm way faster than your grandma!" I said and charged at her.

"Eep!" Is literally what I heard come out of her mouth before she started running towards the entrance. She made it in before me then an older lady stopped I'm the entrence way headed out. She stared at my hair like I needed Jesus and as if I read her mind she says "Jesus help you."

This is it. This is what I've been waiting for. I put one hand on my hip and said "Squse' me ma'am? Have you seen my boyfriend? We just came here after our sacrifice to Satan and he ran in before me haha he gets so energized after he kills puppies for the anti-Christ!" If she thought I needed Jesus just because of my hair she probably thinks I will explode if step foot in a holy place!

She looked at me in horror and speed walked to her car and before she was out of earshot I said "so is that a no? You haven't seen him??" It was pretty hard to keep a straight face but I pulled through quite nicely and I think Maddie thought so too!

I walk through the automatic sliding doors to see her holding he stomach wheezing trying to stop laughing. "I can't believe you just did that!" She said between laughs. She was out of breath...I guess you can say I take her breath away! Probably not though...

"Come on do you want snacks or not?" I say as I grab a cart. "Yes please!" She says be for stepping on the end of the cart facing forward. "TO THE CANDY ISLE!!" she calls as we get weird looks from the people at the registers.

I navigate my way to the candy and she loads the cart up. Next we head to the chips and dip isle and load up on them too. Then we are off to the soda.

"What soda do you want?" I ask her as I look towards the top shelf where all the best sodas are."I want...Moutain Dew!" She finally decides. "Okay Mountain Dew it is!" I reach for the top shelf but she stops me. "I want to get it." I can let her try I guess. She reaches as high as she can but she is just five inches short. As much as I want to watch her struggle I decide to help her out. I grab her sides and lift her up to the shelf. She grabs it but then it happened.

As if in slow motion I watched the 2 liter plummet to the ground cap first. It hit the ground knocking the cap off. I don't even look to see the damage I just grab the next Mountain Dew I see and we bolt to the next isle.

"Do you think anyone saw us?" Mads asked in a hushed tone. "No...I don't think so but play it cool okay?" We make our way to the Little Debby isle and grab a few boxes. "Ice cream?" I ask. "Of course! Mint chip and Cookie Dough?" I nod to her and we head to the freezer section when I realize we are about to go past the sodas so I tap Madds on the shoulder and motion for her to look.

There was a person cleaning up the mess we made and Maddie giggles. The guy cleaning the mess turn towards us. He has floppy brown curls and green eyes. He looked about our age around 20 maybe. "Hey did you guys see who made this mess by any chance?" He looks back and forth between us. "Uh...uhm...no? What?" Maddie shakes her head at me then looks to him "Nope" she says popping the P. He simply gets back to work.

WOW!! 1035 WORDS!! anyways just so you guys know "Zan" is Alex's Nick name because is Alexander and it sounds like there is a 'Zan' in there haha anyways this is my first story so again sorry if it sucks! I will update again soon so until then...
