Jc's POV

"Positive?!", I ask Kali. "Yes!", she said back. "Ok!", she cheerfully said as she ate the last Oreo cookie. I chuckle at her as I grabbed her waist for a hug.

I go upstairs and remember flashes of last night as I go into my room. Just then Kian comes in. "What are you smiling for?!", he asked walking into my room. "No reason!", I lie and stop from smiling as much. "Dude I can tell when you lie!", he yelled. "WELL MAYBE ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!", I yelled as he looks taken back.

He pushes and pins me to the wall while he hits me repeatedly. Wishbone and Hazel start barking. All of the sudden Kali walks in. Kian drops me as I moan in pain. "KIAN YOU NEED TO CHILL, YOU CAN'T JUST FIGHT 'CAUSE YOUR MAD!!!", Kali yelled in Kian's face as she slapped him. Kian was about to punch her too before he stopped himself. He took one last look at us before he just stormed out and slammed the front door closed.

"Jc you okay?!", she looks at me in the eyes. "Yeah but...what about Kian, ughh!?!?", I moan. "F••K HIM!! I asked if your okay!!", she yelled in my face. "Sorry it's just.... so many things have been happening since I got here. Kian's never been this way!!", she said as she starts to cry. "Come here!!", she puts her face on my shoulder as she continues to cry.

"You okay now?!?!", I ask as she gets off of my shoulder and I hold her like a baby. "Yeah!",she confirmed.

We get up from the floor and Kali gets up first. She helps me up every way that she could.

~5 minutes later~

"FINALLY!!", Kali yelled as she pulled me up. I hugged her once more as she walks downstairs. I followed not far behind..

I looked to see if I had bruises. Surprisingly not, but I do have a scratch. I put a band-aid on it and see what Kali's doing. "Hey we should go out to get some fresh air!", I suggested. "Yeah that's probably the best idea!", she smiles.

I love her smile.

The way my hands fit perfectly on her waist.

Even when she's sad she looks cute.

"Hello!? Earth the Jc, you gonna get ready?!", she asks waving her hands in my face. "Um yeah... yeah!", I say smiling at her.

Kali's POV

I put my clothes out to the side and turn on the shower water. (Outfit in the media. I'm pretty sure you guys know how to take a shower so I'm not gonna include details...).

After I'm done with my shower I put my clothes and makeup on, grab my socks, and put my converse on.

I walked to Kian's room to see if he's ready. "Hey Kian you ready yet!?", I ask while leaning on the door frame. "Almost!", he said as he finishes tying his shoe. "Let's go!!".

I grabbed my wallet and key then we headed out. "Ahhh feels so good out here!!", I say while stretching. Jc grabs my waist as we go on our walk. Our feet contact the ground in sync to each other's. We walk along the sidewalk but we stop for a second.

"Jc there's something over there in the street, should we check it out?", I ask. He just walks over there.

"Kian?!", I shout. He shoots up and starts walking away. Jc speed walks behind him and grabs his shirt before he could get any further.

"Let go of my shirt."Kian said calmly. Jc didn't let go. "I said, LET GO OF MY SHIRT!!!", Kian yelled in Jc's face as he knocks him out cold. "JC!!", I scream tears streaming down my face. I lift Jc up and check on him. I check to see if he's breathing and if his heart is beating.

I don't think your heart is supposed to beat that slow. I call 911

~on the call~

Operator- 911 what's your emergency
Kali- PLEASE HELP MY, MY BOYFRIEND
Operator- ma'am I'm gonna need you to slow down. I'm also gonna need your name and your boyfriends name.
*Kali sniffles*
Kali- Okay um, My boyfriends name is Jc Caylen. My name i-is Kali, K-Kali Lawley. I um f-found him outside on the ground kn-knocked out c-cold so I walked over and called you.
Operator- Will you tell me your address, or do we need to track you?
Kali- there's n-no specific location
Operator- Okay I've already sent an ambulance over just stay calm and everything will be okay.
Kali- Okay tha-
*beep beep beep*

My phone beeps indicating she hung up on me. "Why me, JUST WHY ME OF ALL PEOPLE?!", I ask myself as I look at Jc probably for the last time. I can't believe Kian would do this. Just then heard sirens.

The paramedics ran over and put Jc on the bed. I lied again and told them I'm his sister just to ride in the ambulance with him. I hold his hand and kiss his soft chubby cheeks for the last time. I think of all the memories we had and start crying harder. Right at that moment I swear I felt Jc's grip get tighter. "Jc?", I say as I slowly lift my head up and wipe away my tears.

"Kali?!", he moans with a raspy voice. "JC!!!!", I smile at him. I reach for a hug but decide not to since we're in a moving vehicle. "I thought you were gone!",I cry. He try's to smile but he barley can.

We got to the hospital and they opened the door.

"hey um... excuse me... ughh....."I say as I try to get the lady's attention. Instead she ends up ignoring me and I have to follow them in. "HEY!!", I yell. Everybody in the hospital looks at me. I try to hide my face and walk along. I just go sit in the waiting room.

I go on my phone to pass time and calm down. Not long after I hear a nurse called.... me. "Ms. Caylen? Your brother would like to see you!", she smiles. I follow her to Jc's room, room 208.

He looks at me and smiles greatly. I try not to cry but I can't help it. I start tearing up until the nurse speaks again. "Um, miss if you just sign the papers at the front desk you guys can go!", she confirmed. "Oh, okay thank you!", I say looking over to her. "No problem sweetie!", she said as she flashed her pearly whites at me.

Jc looked at me like nothing happened. He opened his arms for a hug. I went to hug him before I left to sign the papers. He didn't let go. "Jc I have to sign papers so we can leave!", I giggle. He lets go and I leave.

I go up to the front to sign the papers. But when the nurse was about to take me to his room. I saw the person I thought I'd never see again...
