Chapter 12

Kali's POV

I try to walk back to Jc's room with the nurse but Kian calls after me. I start to speed walk but before I could open the door I felt a warm hand grab mine. I look back possibly regretting it. When I do it's Kian, with huge puffy eyes, and tear stained cheeks.

"Kali wait!!", his weak voice called. I could feel the anger rising and my skin boiling. I looked at him straight in the eyes and shook my hand out of his grip. Angrily walking to Jc's room. I look again to see him still staring at me in the same spot he was in before.

I knock on the door so I could get in Jc's room. "He may have just been knocked out but we need to keep him here so that we can watch him. You know make sure he's all right!!", the nurse said. I just nod and continued on."Bye Jc see you tomorrow!", I said as I kissed his cheek. "Bye Kali!!", he smiled. But I could tell he was sad.

~at home~

I'm in my room on my bed just thinking right now. Should I tell Jc about what happened with Kian at the hospital. No no no, I don't wanna bother him. He needs his rest.

Just about everyday since I've been here something just something has been going on. Has it always been this way? I'm just not gonna think about it. I've only been here for a week and I'm already psycho. "UGHHHHH!!!", I yell/moan/sigh before stuffing my face in my pillow.

I'll sleep this all off..... no big deal...

Kian's POV

I just wanna say sorry. I don't even know why I left them. They probably hate my guts now. If it where me I would.

Jc is probably dead. I probably killed my best friend. Right then in there I stop from walking along the street to sit and think more. My best friend is gone isn't he?

Kali's POV

I woke up from my nap which was actually 8 hour sleep and decided to go to the store. But first I'm feeding the animals.

I went to get all of their bowls but then I saw the cutest thing ever! They were all sleeping together and Vega was cuddled into Hazel. I had to take a picture and send it to Kian and Jc.

I got my phone and took the picture and I right after I heard the news saying something about Kian.

He's gone missing. But how did the news find out about him? Doesn't matter! What matters is Kian!! My only brother!!

I start to remember all of our favorite moments together and I break down crying. I slide down the wall and hide my face trying to think about happier things. Things that would make me feel better than this.

I try to pick my self up after 10 minutes to feed the Hazel, Wishbone, and Vega. I grab their bowls again,fill them all, and give them back.

I go to my room and I went on my phone. It's only 8:43 and I decided to FaceTime Jc. I wonder if he even can. I call him anyways and he surprisingly picks up.

"Hello!!", I smile at Jc.

"Hi beautiful, how are you!?", he asked.

"I'm fine how are y-"

"Why are your cheeks red? Why are your cheeks shiny?! Why are you eyes puffy?! Why are you sniffling?! Have you been crying?!?!", Jc asks observing my face.

"Jeez why so many questions?!", I say panicking whilst trying to find something to wash them off with.

"It's okay!!", Jc calmed...

"Tell me,what's wrong!!", he asked while yawning.

I told him everything and he started crying a little too!

"But are you okay now?!", he asked.

"Jeez you ask a lot of questions and yes I'm fine!!", I confirmed.

"You sure!!", Jc asked for the last time hopefully.

"YES IM SURE!!!", I yelled I saw Jc jumped a little.

"Well I'm gonna go to sleep see you tomorrow!!", Jc smiled.

"Okay!! Bye, love you!!", I said as I kissed my camera.

With that I ended the call and decided to watch a movie since I'm not tired.

~32 minutes later~

There was a ring at the door. I got up from my bed and went downstairs to et the door. They kept ringing and ringing it. "B•TCH HOLD ON IM COMING!!!", I yelled. At least they stopped ringing.

I opened the door and saw Kian, again...

This time his face was bruised a little. He was skinnier and his clothes were all cut up and ruined. I hugged him tightly and I could feel him smile.

I'm actually glad he's back! I don't know what I'd do without him.

"I love you too Kali!!", is all he says.

"You should probably go clean yourself up. I'll make you some hot chocolate and you can watch tv with me in my room!! I mean if you want..."I say going into the Kitchen. "Sounds good! But umm... Where is Jc?!", he asked worried.

"Remember when you hit him in the street the other day? Well he was rushed to the hospital and he's coming back tomorrow!!", I told him. The joy in his face began to fade and all I saw was sadness. I put the hot chocolate in the mug and gave him another hug. (That rhymed...😏😏😏)

"It's okay Kian, you didn't do it on purpose, did you?", I asked. "No, definitely not!!", he said. "Okay!", I said rubbing his back and handing him the hot chocolate as we walked to my room.

Jc's POV
I can't wait to go home tomorrow. I miss my family (pets). Oh yeah and Kali!! Can't forget her!! What about Kian...

This is so much stress. But I'm really thirsty. I hit the button for the nurse to come and I asked for a lemonade.

Not long after I got my lemonade I started slowly drifting off to sleep!! Getting ready to leave!!
