Baekhyun was late entering the band room on one particular day. Another day that he will never forget. Chanyeol was already in the band room awaiting the older boy, sitting in his usual spot. He hadn't noticed Baekhyun walk in, and Baek was happy about that. Chanyeol had brought his guitar and was strumming it while singing a song that Baekhyun was familiar with. "Sometimes I cry..." Chanyeol sang as he neared the chorus of the song. Baekhyun's heart almost stopped when he heard Chanyeol's beautiful voice. He remembered a couple weeks ago the younger male had told him he couldn't sing. As Chanyeol finished the song, Baekhyun accidentally bumped into a music stand, causing the younger to stop singing, bringing his attention to the smaller boy standing in the back of the room. Chanyeol adverted his eyes, not wanting to look at the older he was sure had heard him sing. "You can sing." Baekhyun said astonished. Chanyeol shook his head telling Baek that it wasn't necessary to lie to spare his feelings. "I'm not lying Chanyeol. You truly do have a magnificent voice. I'm actually kinda glad I was late today." The older answered causing Chanyeol to smile. Something about this smile was different than the usual "Happy Virus" smile. But Baekhyun didn't think much of it. That's one mistake he regrets.
