Floods (General)

Can you do one about flooding, (where the weather gets really bad and it floods their city) and they have to get to safety and swim? Beau and Luke get protective of Jai, and Jai gets really scared and starts drowning but his brothers save him? Pretty please?❤️

Floods

Everyone knew the weather in Melbourne could get bad but they hadn't seen anything like this in Melbourne for years. The storm just never stopped as did the rain and soon everyone became worried about flooding. The brooks brothers watched the news carefully to make sure they were safe in their part of Glenroy and they assumed they were little did they know that night the storm would get worse and the flooding would get very heavy.

The brooks brothers all went to bed; jai was a bit unsettled from the storm but was reassured he would be fine by his brothers and they all fell asleep the rain getting heavier without them knowing. It was around 2am when Beau woke up to people yelling outside and a lot of commotion, he wandered over to his bedroom window and looked down from the second story, the water was very high and people we're swimming to safety. He looked at his next door neighbours yelling to him from below. "Get Out, go while you can" they yelled up to him.

It took a few seconds for it to register in Beau's mind before he ran into the twin's room. He grabbed them, not sure if they were awake. He dragged them to the staircase where he explained they had to swim for a bit up the road to the hill at the end of their street. Luke nodded but jai stood their looking small and frightened. Jai always got nervous in situations that we're stressful. They started their way down their staircase. The water was halfway up the wall and rising fast. They had to get to the front door. Beau looked back at jai who looked like he was about to pass-out. Luke grabbed Jai's hand and beau grabbed the other. They slowly waked into the water and tried to walk through the water at belly button height to the front door.

They kept a tight grip on jai knowing he was very scared. They reached the front door and opened it. A whole lot of water rushed in. They got outside and began to swim up to the hill at the end of the street. There were lots of people doing the same thing. The two brothers kept the tight grip on their youngest brother but it wasn't long until Jai's grip started falling as they pushed through the heavy stream of water. Suddenly they lost grip on Jai.

Beau turned around to grab him but looked to see Jai swept a few metres out of reach. Luke and Beau rushed to him as fast as they could as Jai tried to get steady but Jai was too scared to move properly and he began to go under the water. Jai moved his arms and kicked his legs hard as he lost sight of his brothers and was under the water. He tried to scream for help but instead he got a mouthful of water, he swallowed it trying to get back to the grip of his brothers but he couldn't finds them and he couldn't get his head above the water. Luke screamed as he saw his younger twin drowning in the cold water. Once they had reached the younger boy, he was under the water; he couldn't get above the water himself. Beau reached in and grabbed his brother and pulled him out. Luke grabbed his twin and together they held Jai in their arms as they continued to safety. They reassured Jai as he had swallowed water and it began to come back up.

The three boys reached the hill and huddled together amongst the other people who had also found safety there. Dripping wet, cold and scared they waited out until help arrived. Jai hadn't stopped shaking since they got to safety and Beau knew this was going to scar him in some way or another. Luke and Beau held Jai in their arms closely making sure the water wasn't going to come anywhere near them or jai especially. Once they were in the safety of paramedics and Police, they were checked over and taken to their Nonna's whose house was unaffected by the floods. Jai from them on hated heavy rain it reminded him of the storms that night. If his brothers went close by, he could've died.
