Buddy's Perspective
Ah, it's such a nice day in such a nice box. City sounds.. Polluted factory air... Sniff... Sniff... Wait a minute! I'm not... I'm not outside! Where am I?I could hear wheels, but not car wheels. I could see lights, but not street lights. I could feel air, but not the open air.
I stepped out of my box and admired the surroundings. I see a desk, with a PC on it. Hm.
I see a bed, with a backpack and a purse on it.
I see a vanity, with makeup on it.
Then it hit me. The door.
"Oh that was such a-" a young woman with who appears to be her partner came in. "Lil' Buddy?"
"Lizzie, what are you up to now?" the man said, hands on hips angrily. The young woman scrambled around in the room, opening her drawers. What was she up to?
Now's a perfect time to escape! I scratched the door and left. I accidentally scratched the man's legs! Whoops!
"Ouch!" he shouted. I looked at him, holding his leg and jumping up and down. It was quite a funny sight.
"Joel!" the woman, who appeared to be someone named Lizzie, ran to the Joel-named man. Or should I say, she ran to Joel.
She took a glance around the room and saw me. "Oh! Lil' Buddy here you are!" Lizzie ran to me and hugged me.
Joel sat down on the edge of the bed and Lizzie put me on his lap.
"There you go, Lil' Buddy! With daddy!" Lizzie said and she snapped a photo.
"Daddy?" Joel asked.
"Yes! From now on, Lil' Buddy, call me mommy, call Joel daddy," she said as she kissed me.
I've never felt a warm touch from a loving owner. I've never felt gentle kisses like this. In fact, I've never felt such thing as having a mommy, or a daddy.
I'm Lil' Buddy.
