Evelyna's Assistant Captain (Jonathan Toews' Promotion)

One week later,

Evelyn sits in her room at H.A.T.T.Y. She is going through papers on her desk. As she scans the documents, she spots all the current Hockey Avengers, including: Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Valeri Nichushkin, Nikita Zadorov, Gabriel Landeskog, John Tavares, Vladislav Namestnikov, Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby, Nikita Nesterov and Ben Smith.

She sighs at all the names. She knows that she must have an assistant. Sure Geno and Sidney aren't really necessarily apart of the group, but if there are even more, she will need an assistant to help her, especially in battles.

Looking back at the names, she remembers that Jonathan is the most senior member and he is also a captain for his team. Probably the best captain in the NHL. She has to meet up with the Blackhawks player and let him know.

She stands up and walks out of her room. After she leaves the room, she makes it down to the lobby and then outside. Evelyn activates her heroine form, transforming into Zvezda, and instantly zooms up into the air, heading toward Chicago.

In ten minutes, Zvezda arrives and lands on the ground in front of the United Center. She deactivates her look, returning to Evelyn - her mortal form - once more, and hurries into the arena. She is able to slip back ice and make it to the locker rooms. She enters the Blackhawks' and finds most of the team inside, laughing. She smiles and heads for Jonathan, who is shaking his head.

"I told you not to pick on Pansy, Shawzy." Jonathan folds his arms and leans against the wall of the room.

"Jonny!" Evelyn calls out.

"Hey, Evelyn, how'd you get in here?" the centerman asks.

"Carefully and silently. Listen, I need to speak to you. Preferably alone." She nods toward the door.

"Alright, sure. Nothing here but a mini prank war between Pansy - the new Russian kid - and Shawzy, you know." Jonathan shrugs and unfolds his arms.

They exit the room, leaving the others. Evelyn greets the Blackhawks, including a soaked Andrew Shaw. Along the way, she is also introduced to Artemi Panarin, the new Russian teammate.

Outside the locker room, Evelyn faces Jonathan. She has a stern look on her face and she is serious. So is he.

"So what is this about?" Jonathan asks her, not smiling. He is really sticking true to his serious nature.

"Given that there are numerous players with powers, possibly even more, I think it is time that I get an assistant. I know Sid and Geno are technically assistants, however they aren't apart of the battle squad. The actual Avengers. I am thinking you can help me out. You're technically the second most veteran hero of the team. It would mean a lot."

Jonathan glances to the side, looking back into the room at his teammates. Andrew has Artemi in a headlock. Patrick is running back and forth, freaking out. The others are gathered around the two, laughing.

"I'll do it! I can help you out Evelyn! I'm sure that Kaner would be fine with that!"

"Great! You're my alternate captain of the Hockey Avengers then, Jonny."

"A demotion...but it's also a promotion I guess. I look forward to being your right hand man!" Jonathan states, dipping his head. He smiles at her and then slips back into the locker room, heading over to his panicky teammate.

Jonathan tackles Patrick in a massive hug. Evelyn peers in and watches the two being romantic toward one another, before she turns and leaves once more. She is happy to have Jonathan as her assistant. And now she has to return to Boston and check in with Hawkley, the boss of the Hockey Avengers, to see what news he has.

As Zvezda flies back to Boston, she begins to feel an odd feeling. She halts over the TD Garden building. She is facing the Downtown area, past the parking garages for the arena and spots a giant creature. She knows that it is out of place and shouldn't be there.

Something is definitely wrong and it is time to call in the team! It's time to save the day again!
