In the night
the dragon takes flight
Swooping and diving upon the lands
giving the inhabitants the fright
for their lives.
Of fire he breathes as his wings
make their thunderous flaps
Fanning the flames of the burning land
so that crops may be started anew
by the inhabitants that remain in few.
Soaring again to touch the darken sky
The dragon breathes his fire to pridefully
illuminate the damage he has wrought.
Leaving those in suffering to cry for their lost things
and to bury their dead in blacken graves
Dragon flies on towards new lands. New people.
New things to destroy by fire
To conquer everything
from the sky of night.
