Prompt: People can't see colours till they've had some physical contact with their "true love". True love isn't the same as soulmate, because soulmate is the other half of your soul, while true love is just someone who you're set out to love, who you're entitled to love. Basically a soulmate without the soul part.
But if their soulmate rejects them, then, well, they can't see colour again.
Up to you where to go with this story.

People can't see color until they've met their true loves.
When one of them dies/gets rejected the other's eyes turn grey and the world becomes colourless.

Summary: Caspar's life couldn't be more perfect. He had Joe, he had work, and he had colour. Life was going all to well for him. There was nothing that could go wrong. Right?

Author's Note: Here's another love colour AU thing. Keep in mind, this is not in any way connected to the previous chapter, Touch Of Colour. I combined to prompts. Also, I kind of went sideways with this prompt and stuff so yeah....

THIS CHAPTER IS SOOOO CRAPPPAYYYY IM SOOO SORRRRYYYY

Keep in mind that just because the prompt (s) are sad, doesn't mean the ending is.

Caspar smiles as he breathes in the fresh smell of lavender. Another day at work, another day of pay. But unlike most of the employees, he enjoys working for company. It isn't that he has a higher position as Manager than most of them, because even when he still had a lower position, he enjoyed it. He chose this job and career because he enjoyed and enjoys it.

His office smells of lavender from the new Febreze that he had sprayed it with the other day, and his office is as clean and tidy as can be. On his work desk are pictures, pictures of him and Joe. There's the one with the both of them posed on the sandy white beach in the Philippines, and the other one with them on a roller coaster, and Oli makes an appearance here and there.

He has such great friends, and a great boyfriend. A great job that he actually enjoys, and life couldn't be more perfect.

He sits down into his chair, sinking into the comfortable leather and turning the computer on. It's a nice computer, the computer he's had since the year he and Joe first met. It's not as new and high tech as the other ones, but he's happy with it.

Ding.

He looks over to his side, and sees his phone blinking. Rolling his eyes, he picks it up, and sees Joe's name on the screen. He answers.

"Hello," he says, and Caspar can almost hear the smile in Joe's voice. Sometimes, he is just too adorable.

"Hi, love," he answers, while typing in the password to his laptop. It loads quickly, and a picture of him and Joe pops up, his background. He chuckles.

"Do you know what it is today," Joe asks, and Caspar hears Joe's fingers tap on the table. Caspar pauses.

What is it today?

He digs through his terrible memory for what the special occasion could be.

Ah.

"Of course not, love," he says, feeling guilty that he had momentarily forgotten. Today was probably so far the most important day he and Joe have had together.
