"Rick," I said as we exited the village,"yeah?" He said.
"Did you really mean that kiss?" I asked as my cheeks turned warm. "Of course I did!" He looked at me lovingly.
Then he kissed me and I kissed back. Sparks flew and turned into fireworks.
I smelled something and I ran as fast as I could through the forest. "Slow down!" Rick yelled from behind me," speed up!" I yelled back.
Then, I stopped cold in my tracks as I took a left between a dead end of trees.
"What?" Rick breathed hard as he caught up to me," why did you stop?" Then he looked where I was staring.
"A diner?" He scratched his head," in the middle of no where?"
I started towards it as if in a trance. My only thought was, Cameron Cameron Cameron.
"Sam, I wouldn't-" suddenly the diner exploded into a million pieces. I fell back and ducked as Rick rolled and dodged flying chairs.
As quickly as it started, the fire ended. "Wha-" my mouth hung open and I was too stunned to think or say anything.
Then I saw a human size figure on the ground. Charred blonde hair. Blue glassy eyes open staring at the sky. It was-
"Cameron!" I wailed, sinking to my knees. His lips were blue and his eyes still, but I still tried to shake him awake. It was useless. Tears spilled from my eyes onto his scarred face.
"What kind of joke is this?!" Rick yelled at the sky. I'm not sure if he's mad that Cameron showed up when we were in deep love, or if he was truly enraged about someone putting him here at all.
I got up and ran into Ricks arms. He stroked my hair as I sobbed into his chest. "Don't cry now," he comforted, " we'll find out what all this is,"
And I knew he meant it.

I climbed into the nearest concealed tree by the diner I could find. Rick looked nervous but came with me. He was obviously afraid to stay here after the whole diner on fire thing but he still does this for me. That's why I love him so much.
"Hey," I whispered into his ear when we got settled. "I love you. Even more than a dead body,"
He laughed,"what a complement!" He said sarcastically. I laughed too. It felt good to laugh with him.
"And hey," he stopped laughing. His tone changed serious,"we will find the person responsible for this and when we do I'll do whatever you want me to do to them,"
I smiled and nodded. "You are the best boyfriend ever," I said. I hugged him and we snuggled until we fell asleep.
