A/N hey guys, my style of writing sort of changed a bit so sorry if it's a little odd and different than what you're used to. :-) also I know I changed the cover I just had some difficulties with the book covers so yeah.
"Hey there, babe," I awoke to Ricks voice. "Let's go now,"
I sat up and stretched my arms as I took in my surroundings. We were in the same tree but the grass was flat and short and some of the lower branches of our tree were cut down.
"Um, yeah," I grabbed our packs and shimmied down the tree.
"Wait up!" He called. "Why are you in such a rush?!"
I looked up at him. "Are you blind?" I asked. "Someone has obviously been here,"
He looked down and hurriedly sped down the trunk.
"Come on!" I heard someone yell. I immediately stopped and Rick did to.
"We're not the only ones here," he said.
"Well no duh!" I hissed.
Before I could say more, I was face to face with a girl only slightly younger than me.
"Uh oh," I whispered.
Sorry for the short chapter. I just had to get something out because I haven't updated in a while.
