Chapter 18-She's on thin ice

Aidan's POV

It all happened so quickly one minute she was running away from me and with in second she is lying unconscious in the middle of the road. I ran over to her she wasn't bruised as bad as i expected but she wasn't responding. I checked her pulse with make sure she was still alive, thankfully she was but now i need to get her to the hospital

soon Dave found me and he looked more worried than i was, he called for an ambulance and we waited. I had her head resting on my thigh

" Dude I'm scared for her, she doesn't look so good" Dave told me

i knew he was right, i looked at Sarah and i could see that even though her bruises weren't that bad, she most likely got an internal injury, suddenly i felt a liquid running down my hand which was underneath Sarah's back

i pulled out my hand and I saw it blood, i slightly turned her over and i say the wound she received from the hit, it didn't seem to hit any important organs or blood vessels but she could bleed out

about 10 minutes later the ambulance pulled up, they put her on the stretcher and proceeded to putting her into the ambulance I got in the back and looked back at Dave

" I'll meet you there, i have to tell Zendaya what happened and call your mom and Zyan" he told me

it took us about 10 minutes to get to the hospital

The moment we got there the doctors began to work immediately

They pulled her into a room, I began to walk in the direction but two guards stopped me

''What are you doing , I need to be with her !" i yelled

"Sir i know this may be hard for you to understand but you can't go in there now, the doctors are trying their best to save her life" one of the men said to me

And then his words hit me " Save her life" she was dying and she may not make it

i can't lose her , i just can't

i finally gave up and sat in the waiting room

Dave, Zendaya, My mom and even Zyan burst thorough the hospital doors

" Where is she !?" zyan questioned me

I couldn't answer him the man's words just kept replaying in my head "Save her life"

"Save her life" i muttered

" what ?" Dave asked

A tear left my eyes and made it's way to my cheek " they told me they are trying to save her life!" i yelled

i couldn't take it , this is all my fault, I'm such an asshole

"Dude breathe " Dave told me

I looked at Zendaya who could barely keep her tears in, then i glanced at my mom she shed her first tear

i bowed my head and ran my hands thorough my hair " I can't lose her guys I just can't" i told them

the doors to the emergency room open and the doctors came out

" Family and friends of Sarah Clark" he announced

We all got up and walked up to him

" Is my angel ok ,please tell me she is ok?" i asked

He looked at me and frowned

A part of me died when i say his facial expression

" I'm sorry but she lost and immense amount of blood" he paused" but we were apply to stabilize her"
