The girls all ran screaming from the stone triangle. The gate leading to the stone triangle had been bolted shut, they were trapped like a cow on a farm who is well aware that his brother has just been turned into a burger. Rhianna was frantically shaking at the bars and Kate screamed, the 3 others looked around, Kate was gone too.
A rock wrapped in a note flew from the direction where only a wall stood. Flora picked it up and pulled the note off. She read it aloud, the sound of fright strong in her voice.
"Your friends have paid their owing fate,
So now thou can open the shining gate,
I hope that I have made it known,
not to disturb our shrine to the stone."
A key dropped from the tree above them, Nadine grabbed it and shoved it in the padlock on the gate ,it wouldn't twist, she took a deep breath and calmly turned it, the gate flew open and Flora and Rhianna ran out, Nadine grabbed the key and the padlok and flung them in her bag. She looked back at the blood in the triangle and then she left like the others.
They all rushed to the cantien, covered in twigs and dead leaves. Kate was sitting on one of the sofa's. Everyone rushed over to her, "What happened??" they asked, Kate looked around, "I can't remember, all I remember is seing a face, someone from the school, but I just can't remember who." Kate's phone went off, it was a ransom text message, it said
'I let you off Kate, but if any of you ever want to see Amelia again, you had better follow my instructions very carefully, From the triangle /\.'
"we had better tell someone what has happened, I'll ring the police." The police came into the school and took their statements. The girls were allowed the next day off, to come to terms with what happened. The first day back, the triangle gave them their first instruction.
