Nadine's instruction

Nadine laid on her bed clutching the padlock the triangle had put on the gate. She only then noticed a small engraving on it, it said something like, 'S.M.Bekking, handmade'. She rushed to her latop and pulled her screen up, she typed it into google, it was a local lock making shop. she pulled her rucksack over her shoulder and left for the shop.

Nadine rung the bell on the scratched desk and a little old man wandered dreererly over to her, "hello?" He asked in a shaky voice. She smiled, "I was wondering if you could tell me who purchaced this lock, its number is 345." The man pushed his glasses up and took a closer look, "I will have a look on my records," the man typed something into his computer, "I'm sorry, the record of this purchase had been strangely wiped off the records." Nadine sighed, "thankyou for your time" she said disapointedly. She walked home, what a waste of time.

Once home, she noticed that a letter had been left on her doorstep. She opened it carefully, "Nadine, I can see your going to be a bit of a problem for me. I'm going to have to cover my tracks more carefully! I have a task for you, if you want your friend back, hide the key you found after Amelia went missing, and don't go looking for it again. From the triangle /\" For most people this would be an easy task, but Nadine was investigating, the key was evidence that could help find Amelia.

She thought about it for a while, she convinced herself that hiding the key was the best thing for Amelia, although she still wasn't too sure.

Nadine ran to the river with the key clutched in her hand. she stood on the bank. She attemped to throw the key in the river but her hand just wouldn't let go. She realised that Amelia could be in danger if she didn't throw it, she threw it reluctantly. Her phone went off, the message she got said, "No no, not in there. I need that key back, leave it by the bank. Sorry if this text comes a bit late. From the triangle /\" Nadine shouted to whoever was watching her, "You could have told me sooner that you wanted the key," her phone went off again it said "oops /\".

Nadine felt around the bottom of the shallow waters frantically, the key was gone. She saw something shining in the river, the key! Nadine took in a deep breath and jumped in, she felt around, nothing. She came up for air, one more try. she dived back down and there it was, she grabbed it and swam to the edge. Once on land, she gasped for air, she dropped the key on the bank and ran home, soaking wet and stinking of fish and algea.
