The man who owned the carwash had a buldging beer belly that wobbled when he spoke and poked out the bottom of his stained t-shirt. His breath was the smell of stail garlic and stilton cheese and the girls all winced as he spoke to them. "Remember, car refreshers are £1.00 for small ones and £3.00 for the large"       you need to eat a car refresher thought Rhianna.

It was Flora's mum's idea to get the three girls to work here. She thought them concentrating on a job would  help them get over the disaparances of Nadine and Amelia. They were working every Saturday and Amelia's mum Kitty didn't like it. She said that 'after such a traumatic experience, the girls should be in councelling; not washing cars,' but everyone knew she just didnt like the thought that this was the first big thing the girls had done without Amelia.

While washing the jet black Volvo, an idea came to Flora. "Its strange that Kitty didnt want us to work. What if- never mind" she realized how stupid it would sound. Rhianna looked up, "No, tell us!" Flora blanked Rhianna and hoped she would give up- but thats just not like Rhianna. "This is important! We have to say what we think. We could be dealing with a murderer here so stop wrorrying about what your thinking and just tell us!!!" Flora sighed, "Fine! its just, Kitty has been very, well, private at the moment and she was trying to stop us working here. Its just strange." Kate tilted her head, " What are you trying to say?" "I think Kitty is the triangle." Flora replied.

After Work

They peered over the hedge into Kitty's lounge. She was kissing a man- not Amelia's dad either. Kate crept up to the window and looked into the poshly decorated room. Kate's mum used to call Kitty a snob (behind her back that is). She saw a picture on her antique bookcase. A picture of the stone triangle.
