The next day I wore a dark blue, ruffled blouse and leggings with combat boots. I ate cocoa pebbles with milk for breakfast then grabbed my textbooks and phone and left. I took my own car because my brother had to leave early for a meeting to start football.
I got out of my car and walked towards the school. I saw Cole with a blonde girl. He looked at me and smirks.
I kinda felt a pang of jealousy but I avoided it. I went to my locker and put my math book in. The girls came up to me and we talked for a while. They left after a while.
A boy with light brown hair and blue eyes came up to me. "Hey. Kristine right?" He smiled.
"Yeah, who are you?" I asked politely.
"I'm Collin. So did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" The boys behind him snicker.
"Um I'm just going to leave." I close my locker and left because I knew what they were doing.
Next thing I know Collin pulled me and pinned me against the lockers.
He tried to kiss me. "Come on baby."
"No! Let go of me!" I struggle to get out of his grip.
"I know you want me Kristine. Just kiss me baby." He put his lips on mine and kisses me roughly.
"Stop!" I mumbled. He slipped his tongue into my mouth. I bit it.
"Ouch! You bitch." he slaps my face. I fell down in pain. The tears kept spilling out of my face.
"Please don't touch me." I whimper as I close my eyes.
I finally open them and I see Collin on the ground and my brother punching him and the guys coming around me.
They help me up. "Are you okay Krissy?" My brother asks me as he embraces me into a hug.
"My cheek hurts. He slapped me." I remove my hand from my cheek and its red.
"Come on. Let's get you to the health room for some ice." Ryder commanded. My brother wrapped a protective arm around my body and the boys walked me to the health room.
"Hi nurse Emily." Cole greeted.
She took one look at me. "Sweetie, what happened?" She asked as she grabbed an ice pack.
"It was an accident. I'm a bit clumsy." I chuckle nervously.
"Here hun." She handed me the ice pack.
"Thank you." I hold the ice pack against my cheek.
"I'm nurse Emily. What's your name?"
"Kristine Lawson." I smile.
"Well, you're really pretty." She smiles back.
"Thank you."
"Oh great. She even has likability with medical people like nurses." Christian whines.
I laughed. "Were you trying to make me laugh or whining?"
"Both." he winked.
"Well, this young lady is sweet, smart, and beautiful. How can you not like her, let alone love her?" Nurse Emily smiled
"True." Cole said chuckling.
"Sweetie, do you want to go home? You can bring your friends?"
"Sure." I smile.
My brother wouldn't let me drive home so Cole drove me in my car and Christian apparently gave the guys a ride this morning so Ryder and Matt went with him.
