Emma's point of view
"Congratulations Emma, you have given birth to a healthy baby girl" the doctor smiles sadly as I didn't dare look at the bundle wrapped up in blankets.
"Emma. You can change your mind you know?" the doctor speaks softly rocking the child back and forth. I slowly turned to look at them both.
"Who's the father?" I asked just above a whisper.
"Emma you know I can't say unless you keep your child" he sighs before walking towards me. I see her beautiful face and bright blue eyes staring back at me. I nod my head tears streaming down my face as I take the small child into my caring arms.
"Hello there... Eleanore" I coo over her relaxing before I look at the doctor in anticipation, conflicting in I want to know but I'm scared to.
"The DNA test results showed that your child's father is..." he breathes before check through a document.
"Killian Jones" he sighs before nodding and leaving me in the room on my own as tears fall from my eyes and regret of what I did comes flooding back. But I need to be strong...For Eleanore...
5 years later
Me and Eleanore moved away and settled in a small town, Storybrooke Maine where my foster parents lived. It was a quiet town and I worked as a sheriff in a stable job and owned a small apartment but I was struggling. However my baby girl always comes first. She has grown a lot and was always very bubbly and for a six year old, she was very stubborn and sassy. She had pale skin with the brightest sky blue eyes and long black hair but had my defined cheek bones and face sculpture.
We were walking down the street her small hand grasping my own.
"Mummy. Where's my daddy?" she asked so innocently. Tears threatened to fall as the guilt came rushing back. I knelt in front of her and looked into her ocean blue eyes that reminded me of him. The one who always understood and I went and pushed him away.
"Mummy..." my voice cracked and tears flowed down my cheeks "when mummy was younger. I met your father and he was just perfect, he understood mummy and he..." I took a deep breath "he was just... He was always there and loved me for me. But I did something selfish and cruel so your daddy left".
"He hates me?" she asks so innocently and I shook my head.
"No. No of course not. He left before I knew, before he knew you" I smiled sadly as I closed my eyes and tears slipped down my cheeks "he would love you" I whispered.
"Don't cwy mummy. It don't suit you" she smiled using her small hand to wipe the tears from my cheeks. I smile before embracing her into a hug and kissing her forehead.
"Now, how about that ice cream?" I ask and she nods her head enthusiastically and grabs my hand once more.
We walked down the street until I felt strong arms grab me by the waist putting a dirty hand over my mouth pulling me into an alleyway, they then threw me against the wall with a loud thud as my head hit the brick causing my vision to have black spots.
"Mummy!" I hear Eleanore scream in terror as I could make out one of the men turn and approach her.
"RUN!" I shout before a burning sensation appears on my cheek and I look up to see a face I never wanted to see again.
"Hello ems. Miss me?" Neal said darkly before chuckling and pinning me to the wall. I tried to fight back but I couldn't I was so weak as a small tear rolled down my cheeks mixing with blood and I black out.
Killian's point of view
I decided to have a fresh start. Now I live in a small town, Storybrooke Maine. Its a small quiet town and I work at the docks like the past five years. I finished my shift and my mind wondered to Emma Swan. The woman who broke me but I never found anyone else... I just slept around really and spent my time at the pub wishing to see her golden locks and bright emerald eyes again. I was walking down the small street on the sea front when a small girl crying ran up to me with a large gash in her forehead. I immediately ran up to her as she was asking for help weakly but but she looked like she was about to pass out. I go up to her and kneel down so I can look into her blue eyes that were filled with fear.
"Pwease. Pwease you got to help my mummy. There is bad guys and they no nice" she sobs as I pick her up knowing she is unable to walk and call an ambulance while the small girl gives me directions. I sit her down on a step shrugging off my jacket and handing to her so she can lie down.
"Stay here, okay lass?" I ask as she nods. I turn into the alleyway she pointed towards. There is a group of men surrounding a girl with blonde hair. They all turn on me but I've done a lot of self defence. One of the men pulls out a small pocketknife and lunges towards me but I dodge it easily slamming his head into the wall behind and kicking the knife down the alley away from the others. Another man with sandy coloured, messy hair and a tall and thin scraggly body throws a punch to my stomach where I double over but quickly regain my fighting stance. He goes to throw another punch but I grab his fist midair and knee him in the groin sending him backward. The third face I recognise. Neal. He growls at me before throwing a punch to my face and I can feel the blood forming in my mouth, he tries again but I dodge and kick him in the back of the leg sending him tumbling to the floor. I then hold him in place.
"Leave and if I see your face here again I will gut you alive and you can watch the insides of your stomach slither onto the floor" I hiss at him as he nods frantically before getting up and running down the alleyway. I turn to look at the woman sitting on the floor. I walk over slowly and kneel in front of her before pushing her hair from her face.
"Swan?" I swallow recognising her instantly before I see the sirens coming closer and nurses surrounding her...
