Chapter 10

He stared at me shocked. I feel tears at the back of my eyes.

"I'm sorry. I should of told you at first but I just. I understand if you don't want to see me or your child I ju-" I rambled on before he leans in and presses his lips to my forehead.

"Emma. I couldn't be happier. I'm sorry I wasn't there for her growing up" he started.

"But I pushed you away?" I cut him off.

"Yeah. You hurt me and I can forgive you in time but I did help bring her into this world so I will help her get through it" he smiles at me before we hear the door open and shut with my baby girl bouncing through the door.

"Mummy guess what?" she exclaimed climbing on to the bed next to me.

"What?" I asked glancing at Killian as he stared at his daughter with a mixture of love, pain and admiration.

"I saw a big, big teddy bear that was diss big" she squealed stretching her arms as wide ad possible.

"Wow. That is big" I smiled at her as she turned to Killian trying to stretch her arms further, biting her tongue in concentration.

"That's impressive lass" he smiled fondly chuckling.

"Eleanore... Mummy will have to stay in hospital while she heals so your going to... Stay with..." my voice cracked at the guilt, "Your daddy".

"My daddy is 'ere?" she questioned with a huge grin on her face.

"Y-yes" I stuttered as my throat felt raw.

"Can I see 'im, so I can tell 'im that you is sowwy and I fo'give 'im 'cause he didn't know?" she asks with her puppy eyes as I can see Killian's eyes gloss over and a smile on his face.

"Of course hunny. He's right there" I smile as I point at Killian, the man I never managed to get over.

"Hello love" he smiles as she turns to face him.

"You the man dat saved me. My 'ero" she giggles before jumping into his arms. He looks surprised at first but hugs her back, tears rolling down both our cheeks. They pull back as he looks into her eyes.

"I'm so sorry. I should of bee-" he starts but gets cut off as she forces her small, delicate hand onto his mouth.

"No! You didn't know. I fo'give you" she says stubbornly retracting her hand and crossing her arms over her chest as I giggle at his reaction . He stares at her with a huge grin before taking her back into his warm embrace.

"Well. We know where she got her stubbornness from" I chuckle.

"Aye. She got that from the both of us definitely" he chuckles as Eleanore sits on his lap facing me.

"You're going to stay with daddy for a week while I'm stuck here" I grin.

"Yay! We go get ice cweam. Won't we daddy?" she tilts her head back in order to look at his face.

"Aye. That we will" he chuckles kissing her temple lightly.

"She already has you wrapped around your finger" I laugh as he playfully frowns at me. A small nurse walks into the room with a bored expression placed on her face.

"Visiting hours are up. Sorry" she smiles fakely. before disappearing.

"Say goodbye to your mother" Killian smiles picking Eleanore up and placing her onto the bed.

"Aw. Bye bye mummy. We come see you tomowo" she giggles as I hug her and kiss her forehead.

"Of course hunny" I smile as she gets off the bed and leaves the room.
