Emma's point of view
He wouldn't tell me what happened. He wouldn't lie either which in a way I was grateful for but at the same time I wish he'd tell me but I've stopped trying to make him tell me. It's been 4 weeks since he's out of hospital.
We were sitting at a small table in the canteen holding hands smiling and joking with Mulan, Aurora, Adam, John and a few others. Killian leans into me placing a soft kiss on my cheek before smiling against my skin.
The bell goes so we go to our next lesson walking hand in hand. I smile as we enter and take our seats at the back of the class. Cheerleaders looking at me, jealousy evident on their faces but awe as well. Neal gives a death glare at Killian before winking at me which I respond to with an eye roll as we take our seats. The bell rings signalling the end of school and I walk out to see him leaning against my yellow bug. I walk over to him pressing my lips to his as he wraps his strong arms around my waist.
"Ready love?" he asks opening the drivers door for me as I him in response. he then gets into the passenger seat and I drop him home but before he gets out I lock the doors.
"So... Are you going to tell me what happened?" I ask turning to face him as he avoids my gaze."I can't" he whispers looking down at his lap. I sigh before bringing his face to look into my own.
"Fine" I lean in and kiss him on the cheek before he smiles and cups my face bringing our lips together. He pulls back smirking as I pout while he grabg my hand gently.
"I was just wondering...If I could take you out to dinner Swan?" he smiles shyly with a hint of cockiness. I roll my eyes before answering.
"Of course" I beam before wrapping my small arms round his neck clashing our lips together.
"I'll see you then. I'll pick you up at six" he smiles before kissing my knuckles and exits the car.
Following Saturday
I was waiting anxiously for the doorbell to go as I made my way downstairs where I was greeted by my parents.
"Emma. You look beautiful" my mum smiles at me in awe.
"Thanks" I reply. I was wearing a baby pink dress that went down to below my knee and a v-kneck dress line with light pink heels and my hair tied into a neat ponytail. Finally the door bell goes and I straighten my dress before opening the door to see him standing looking at me in awe. Wow was the only thought in my head at that moment.
"You look stunning Swan" he smiles taking a step forward and handing me a single red rose.
"Y-you look..."
"I know" he smirks as I roll my eyes and my dad stands behind me.
"Take care of my daughter" he warns staring at Killian.
"Nothing will happen whilst she's with me" he smirks. As David grunts. I quickly pull Killian out of the building and he directs me to a shiny black car sitting on the curb. I smile at him.
"Nice car".
"Not as nice as me though" he smirks before I slip into the car and we head of to the restaurant.
We walk into the dimly room where we are lead to a small table at the back by the window. He pulls out the seat for me as I sit down then sits in the chair opposite grinning at me before handing me a small menu. We order as conversation runs smoothly and a plate of Italian pasta is set in front of me while Killian has a serloin steak. I smile cheekily before leaning over and stealing a chip.
"Oi" he scowls playfully before taking some of my pasta while I laugh at his childishness.
"You love me I'm allowed" I smirk as I take another chip. As he grumbles unable to stop a smile playing across his lips. We finish our dinner before leaving and he drives us out to a small field on the outskirts of town.
"You're not going to kill me are you?" I ask playfully.
"Yeah. Because buying you food to then kill you would be so smart" he replies sarcastically.
"Point taken" I smile at him fondly as he intertwines our fingers.
"Here we are" he smiles as we sit on a wooden bench. He looks up gesturing for me to look up as well. I look up to see clusters of stars altogether, the glow contrasting the darkness of the sky.
"It's beautiful" I whisper.
"That she is" he replies. I turn my head to see that he wasn't looking at the stars anymore but was instead looking at me lovingly.
"Here. I um... My mother gave this to me and... Well I want you to have it as it really does suit you" he smiles shyly before digging into his coat pocket and taking out a small dark, velvet box. I look at him smiling before opening the small box and take out the beautiful necklace. It was a silver chain with a Swan pendant that had a light blue crystal on it and another anchor pendant with a small dark blue crystal on the top.
"It's so beautiful" I whisper looking at the pendants independently before he takes it and attaches it round my neck. I clash our lips together gently and spilling out my words into the gentle and passionate kiss. His tongue seeks entrance to which I oblige and we forget about the world around us. Breath is soon needed so we break apart our foreheads still resting against one another.
"I best take you home before I find myself on the end of your father's gun" he jokes before taking my hand and lifting himself off the bench.
"I think I'd prefer you without a bullet in your head" I agree giggling as he kisses my cheek.
I felt truly happy...
