The evening news is where you greet saying "good evening" and then proceed to tell why it isn't.
Like for example.
"GOOD evening and welcome to the evening news. It has been proved that a massive hurricane will be starting tonight in our city. Also,there is a man who escaped from jail that use to tape people and still does and he is searching right now for his next victim. Thats all for now,this is evening news and GOOD night"
