*Noah's POV*

"How could you do that to me?" Willow hissed out through tears. I didn't say anything. I couldn't say anything. "Answer me!" She shouted hitting my chest repeatedly but I didn't flinch, my whole body felt numb. I couldn't even look at her.

A woman who looked like Isla pulled Willow away before she could become hysterical. She stepped towards me, "I don't understand why you're here?" Her forehead creased in confusion. "Who are you and why is she beating you up like a piñata?"

"He's Noah." Willow's mom spoke up, I glanced up at her seeing the seriousness on her face, something I wasn't used to seeing. She paused then raised an eyebrow and directed her speech at me, "can we talk?" She said walking towards the door, I lingered there dumbstruck. She cleared her throat, "now would be good." I glanced at her as she crossed her arms, taking a gulp I traipsed towards her.

When I got close to her you could see a royal blue vein bulging next to her eye, Willow had told me that this only happened when built up rage loitered within her. I knew that was my cue to apologise for all I had done, "Mrs Delaney, this isn't Willow's fault, whatsoever, please don't be mad at her. The only person you should be mad at is me." I pleaded, she raised an eyebrow causing her vein to look bigger, "I'm sorry for taking your daughter out at midnight, I'm sorry for not informing you, for getting Willow into trouble as well as not being there for her when she needed me." I rushed, "it was a stupid, stupid thing to get her dragged into. I don't even want to think about what your husbands going to do to me when he finds out." I confessed.

She paused to look at me, "I'm not mad at you." She said bluntly.

I creased, "are you sure because the vein on your forehead tells me otherwise..." She rolled her eyes. She looked so much like Willow when she did that... Their deep dimples popped out whenever they rolled their eyes.

"I'm not mad at you." She said once again, she paused for a while then took a step closer to me making me take a step back. For a woman who was five foot two she definitely was intimidating. "I'm disappointed." That word hurt, when a parent says they're mad at you, you get over it eventually because you know the next minute they'll forget about the situation, but. When a parent uses the disappointed card you know you've fucked up. "I'm not disappointed in what you've done, your art is amazing, believe me... But I'm disappointed in the fact that you didn't face the consequences, and left my daughter to take the blame." She walked back to everyone and I hid my face in cowardice.

She was right.
It was a shitty thing to do.

Not just running, but the fact that I waited the whole night before I came to visit her. Regardless that I spent the whole night worrying about her I could've at least called someone. My mom? Sienna? Or even Willow's mom. I walked back to everyone, I glanced at Willow who's face was scarlet red and puffy from crying. Seeing her face like that made me want to punch a wall. "Willow doesn't have to tell you anything... I will." As soon as I finished my sentence the officer got up from his seat in realisation.

"You're the guy who was with her?" He questioned and I nodded making him get out his handcuffs, "well... You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you by the state."

"I'll call your mom." Willow's mom assured me as she walked outside to place the call and I nodded my head. I was put in the jail cell and he locked the doors behind me. Willow whispered something to Isla's mom and she nodded her head. After that she, Isla and Isaac left the room; I smiled at her sheepishly in which they all replied with a cold stare but I couldn't help but chuckle at the bunny slippers she was wearing from last night.
