Chapter 7: Tired

"Ray, what happen?" asked Sally in panic voice.

Sally ran towards her brother. Their mother is rushed to the hospital. She fainted at home while cooking. Sally already warn her brother do not overwork their mother. She was furious and wanted to scold her brother but Sandy stops her. She focuses her attention. The doctor informs them that their mom is just tired and need to rest. She sigh in relief.

"The buffet must goes on. You will be in charge of the 2 weeks with Big Bang,"instruct her brother.

"YOU ARE INSTRUCTING ME YET AGAIN! WOW! I KNOW WHAT I AM SUPPOSE TO DO!" she shouts in anger.

Sally could not hold in her temper anymore. She wants to be there for her mother but she has to continue the buffet. Ray remain silent. Sally walks to her mother's room. She told her mother to rest and let her do the cooking. She teared up while saying that. She left the room and tell her brother to not take in any more reservations.

"Let's just do a good job today okay? No nonsense from anyone," said Sally sternly.

Her staff knows what happen to her mother and she expect no nonsense from them so that it doesn't add up to her worry list. Sally calm herself down and look around for final check. She felt extra tired because she had to do all the cooking and hopefully it will taste nice.

The dancer and other staff are taking their lunch. Sally goes down to take more serviettes. On the way down, Sally broke down. She felt bad for agreeing to take up this contract and not aware of her mother's health. She wipes her tears before alighting the lift. She bump into someone.

"Mianhae,"she whispered.

"It's okay!Yah, Sally!" a familiar voice.

She looks up and it was Hyun Seung and DooJoon. She was shocked. Damn!

"Are you crying?!"asked DooJoon.

Sally shakes her head without answering. But she is bad at lying. Another tears rolls down her cheek. Gosh!

"I'm okay. What you doing here?"she asked to divert the attention.

"GD-hyung invites us for the concert. YoSeobie and DongWoonie have musical, GikWangie filming drama and JunHyungie have another schedule,"explain DooJoon.

She smiled and asked them to go ahead. She sighed because she should not burden anyone especially B2ST members. They are friendly, yes but it's safe to keep a distance before getting hate from fan. She smiled at the ridiculous thought she's having.

The concert went well and luckily, all the comments about the food today are good. Big Bang came in looking tired and sweaty. She is clearing the area slowly so she can visit her mother as soon as possible.

"All of you did a good job today. Thank you so so much. Rest well and take care. Don't go wondering about okay? Each of you text me at the group chat when you reach home if not, I will call your families," said Sally light heartedly.

She released her staff and Sandy have her a tight hug. She sighed and ready to leave.

"Sally!" DooJoon running towards her.

"Oppa? What's up?"she asked.

"You want to join us for a drink?"he asked.

"Mianhae, I can't. I got to go somewhere. Enjoy but don't drink too much! Take care!" she decline politely.

DooJoon giggles when hears Sally nags a bit. DooJoon realise aomething was off with her today.

" Ma! How are you?"Sally asked once she reach the ward.

Her mother smiled and said all okay. She lay down on her mother's right arm.

"Once this contract ends, we go for a long holiday okay?"she said.

"Why are you crying?"her mother asked when she felt her arm is wet.

Sally just kept quiet. When she was on her way out, she receive a text from from her brother.

"I'm sorry for overworking ma and you."

Sally didn't bother to reply. While cooking just now, she felt joy knowing that people will enjoy eating and be full. She is content all goes well today.
