Chapter 8: Sadness

"GD breaks up with Kiko,"whisper one of her staff.

Right now, they are at Big Bang concert. Sally was furious to hear that because it's not being professional and nice. It's a hot topic now so Sally understand the eagerness that her staff's feels. Before going to their station, Sally held a briefing.

"I know that there are news about the breakup and all of you are eager. Please keep your opinion to yourself and for the ladies, please do not flirt with anybody. A reminder for myself too!"she brief them lightheartedly.

All of her staff smiled. The buffet starts and as usual the dancer comes to eat first. Sally was instructed to bring drinks to Big Bang waiting room. She nods and bring the drinks in. She can see her staff are jealous. She smiled at them and almost burst to laughter. She make her way to their waiting room. She came in and saw all of them busy getting ready. She did not see GDragon though. All of them shouted thanks.

"Do your best! Hwaiting!!" Sally shouted.

She goes out the room and saw GD talking to someone. The man's face is serious and he is not Papa YG. Maybe someone from the higher up. Sally make her way back to the buffet area. She felt bad for the situation. Though YG did not release an official statement that GD and KiKo are dating, but to put on a happy persona during a concert is very hard.

She placed the tray down and stand at her area. She was enjoying the song. She tried to control herself from dancing. The concert is starting. All 5 of them walk to the stage door. Sally looks at GDragon who walk with his head down. She sighed. Why can't netizens or fans accept idol's relationship? They are human too. They start the show with Bang Bang Bang. All the staff was singing to the sing.

"Ma will be discharged tmr"

Her brother message her. She just replied Ok. She cooled down a little. She tries to avoid her brother at home though she played with her nieces and nephews.

"Cheoeumen seollemeul ango, baneun gomineul ango, kkeuten seoro uiririnama jinae sihaengchago, nan haruharuga buranhae, ne geu sunsuhami budamdwae,hajiman oneul bammankeumeum, I want you to stay!" Sally rap excitedly.

She was rapping to GD's part in Let's Not Fall In Love while placing all the stuff in her van. The concert ended and next week back to B2ST. She miss those boys.

"You can rap really well?"

"Argh!!! Goshhhh!!" shouts Sally.

She was shocked by the sudden question behind her. She turn and was greeted by smiling GD. Sally breathe in and out slowly. If it was her friends, she would already hit them.

GD was smiling seeing her reaction. There was an awkward silence because Sally do not know what to do. She was actually waiting for GD to say something.

"So, we are just going to stand here and look at each other?"joke Sally trying to break the silence.

GD smiled sadly. Sally sigh and ask him to have a seat at the back of her van. Yet again, another silence between them. After a minute or so, Sally can see GD's shirt gets wet. She continue to be quiet and pass him tissue. She can't say not to cry because she do not know his feeling fully.

"Sometimes in life, we have to smile eventhough it hurt us. Sometimes in life, we have to smile eventhough we want the world to see our tears. Crying is not a sign of weakness but a sign of perseverance. I guess you been holding it in too long," Sally said calmly while GD crys.

They sat in silence for about 20 minutes or so.

"It's hard to pretend I'm okay when I am not. I am still a human who needs love. I am not a robot," he sobs.

Sally pat and rub his back softly.

"I'm sorry to hold you back. I do not want the guys to worry. But now it's not a good time to dwell on it."

"Doesn't mean you have to ignore your hurting heart. Address the heart and move on if you are ready and want to," Sally said.

After another hour or so, GD calm down. He want to make a move but Sally offers to drop him home.

"Do you think it's safe?" she ask cautiously.

Knowing how netizen or paparazzi, she felt kinda scared. Her brother will kill her. Maybe she is overthinking about an unrealistic situation. GD smiled and tell her that he will inform where she can drop him. Sally starts the engine and they move off.

"Be strong for yourself first before others," said Sally.

GD thanks Sally for the time and advices. He did felt better. B2ST is fortunate to have Sally as their caterer plus friend.
