Chapter 58: I Love You

"I love you..."

That statement is in her mind for days. She has not contact anybody after that day. She let JiYong cries his heart out and let him doze off on her arm before leaving him with Yoseob. Yoseob has been awfully quiet. Should she tell Sandy? Should she ask Yoseob? She does not want to take it seriously because JiYong was drunk.

"Argh...maybe it meant for somebody else, Sally!" says Sally to herself.

She is preparing to go out and settle some errands. Ray let her rest for a few weeks before resuming back to work. She is not even allowed near the kitchen by her omma.

JiYong: Sally-ah. I want to meet you.Now. Jebal!
Sally: Oppa,gwaenchana? Waeyo?

Sally shrieks when she saw JiYong standing outside shivering. She runs to him and pulls his hands.Her intention was to get him inside her house but JiYong pulls back and hugs her tightly.

"Oppa..."

"Stay still, Sally-ah, "he whispers.

Snow falling from the sky are getting heavier but JiYong still hugging her. Getting colder by a second. Sally realized that the warmth from the hug is gone. She shivers under her coat.

"Let's go inside, "says Sally firmly.

She pulls him into her car and gets him inside.She turns on the heater. Both of them remain silent. Not knowing what to do, Sally turns on her engine.

"Oppa, where do you want to go?"

"Sally-ah...about other night...I was telling the truth.I love you," says JiYong.

"BWO?!You must be kidding, Oppa!There are many pretty girls out there better for you..no!" panics Sally.

"You telling me that I will go for looks when comes to love? GD will only love pretty girls?! I thought only fans assume that I only like skinny and pretty girls but you too, Sally?!" says JiYong before he exits her car.

JiYong was taken aback by what Sally's words. He thought Sally will not judge him like that. He was angry and disappointed by it. He walks without knowing where to go. He heard Sally calling him but he ignores it.

"Oppa, mianhae! That's not what I meant," shouts Sally.

"Why me? Why do you love me? I am not a pretty head and does not meet public size standard. Please don't get me wrong. Let's not jeopardize our friendship. What if the love track does not last and what happen next? Oppa..."

JiYong sighs listening to Sally's explanations. But he wants Sally to be more than just a good friend. He wants to take a risk.

"Oppa..."

"But I want to take a risk. I want to have someone special to be with me. I want to have a girlfriend. What does my status have to do with falling in love?" questions JiYong back to Sally.

"Jebal..."

"Why are you pushing me away?Why are you denying my love for you?" cries JiYong.

"I am not pushing you away. I want assurance. I want to be sure that this is not just a phase of you..."

"Trying to find inspirations for my next song? Is that what you mean? You scared that I am just toying with your heart? You think I love to play with woman's heart? I thought I have someone that understand my heart well but I guess not. I am wrong. Mian."

Sally sees JiYong walks off her porch. She sighs and apologizes under her breath.

"I love you too, Oppa. I love you..." her surrounding darkens.
