Chapter 40: Our First Date

Sally is looking at her good friend getting ready for her date. She is smiling widely. Sandy apply light make up but her face lit up. Sally advices her to wear something comfortable yet stunning. So Sandy wears a flowery pattern midi pants, plain black blouse and her Superga shoes.

"I wish you can be there with me," says Sandy nervously.

"Yah! I don't want to be a lamppost. Beside, I will be heading to BeiJing with JiYong oppa later. Remember?" says Sally.

Sandy pouts.Somebody knocks the door. Sally knows it's SeungHyun. She opens the door and SeungHyun stands there handsomely with his semi-smart outfit. Sally smiles and gives him a thumb up. Sandy stood in front him and she can feel her cheeks get hotter.

"Make sure both of you stay safe okay? I'll call you later,arasso? And oppa,please take care of my goodfriend here," says Sally sternly.

SeungHyun just nods because he is mesmerisedp by Sandy's beauty. Sandy follows SeungHyun nervously.

"Oppa,I am not overdressed or underdressed right?" asks Sandy.

"Perfect!" says SeungHyun sheepishly.

"Actually,we are going for a secret date. Only JiYongie and Sally know about this," whispers SeungHyun.

"JJINJA?!" shriek Sandy.

SeungHyun laughs seeing Sandy's reaction. He pats her head lightly and says nothing to be worried about.

"First,let's go for breakfast," says SeungHyun.

Sandy forgets that it's only 9am. They decided to meet early to avoid any potential disturbance. SengHyun can see that Sandy is nervous. They took the lift down. He stood in front of Sandy and the minute the door close. He turns and place his palms on her shoulders. He give a peck on her forehead. Sandy was stunned. SeungHyun realise Sandy didn't gave any reaction. He turn back thinking Sandy might be angry.

Suddenly,SeungHyun felt Sandy's fingers interwine with his. He turns and Sandy tiptoes to give him a peck on his cheek. SeungHyun smiled widely.

"It's going to be a good day. I promise."

When the lift door opens, Sandy wanted to let go of SeungHyun's hand. But SeungHyun holds her hand. He shakes his head and smiles widely.  They walk to the carpark holding hands. SeungHyun leads the way to a luxurious car, Audi A5. He opens the door for Sandy. She is mesmerized by the car interior and design. When SeungHyun enters, she was still in awe which SeungHyun find it cute. SeungHyun starts to drive. 

"Sandy, this is our first date right? "says SeungHyun.

"De. It's nerve wrecking..."

"Waeyo?" 

"Because I am going out with the rapper of BigBang, Hallyu star,"says Sandy.

SeungHyun sighs. 

"But...today he is SeungHyun. I am going on a date with SeungHyun not T.O.P,"added Sandy sensing SeungHyun's dismay. 

He takes Sandy's hand and kiss it. Sandy blushed. Yet again another surprise kiss. Inside her is exploding with happiness. She is in cloud nine but she is trying to suppress it. They continue to talk about random things. About her work, his work, her family, his family but one thing he said that make Sandy's heart flutter so much. 

"When I first saw you, my heart beats like crazy. That's when I know you are the one that I am looking for." 

He is straightforward but mysterious at times. Sandy loves man who is mysterious yet straightforward. 

"Here we are! Let's eat our breakfast," says SeungHyun after parking the car. 

He cover his face with mask and Sandy do it too. Sally already mention to her to wear it whenever SeungHyun use it. SeungHyun smiles and gives her another peck on her forehead. Sandy opens her door herself which make SeungHyun whines because he was not fast enough. Sandy laughs at his expressions. They went in holding hands. The owner greets them. Being fluent with Japanese, SeungHyun request to sit at a corner. 

"It will be an adventure today..." says SeungHyun excitedly.
