It was early afternoon and Rory had just got home from work, Amy was in the kitchen baking a cake and Jamie was upstairs taking a nap.
"Hey Mrs" he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and kissed her cheek, "that cake mixture looks really good". He went to stick his finger in the bowl only for Amy to smack it.
"Not yet, Mr" she smiled, "it's not ready yet".
Rory released her waist and walked over to the fridge, "Jamie been good today?"
"No trouble at all, he's taking a nap at the moment, I think he'll wake up soon".
"That's good" Rory looked in the fridge and took out the chocolate spread, smiling at Amy who had her back turned, before dipping one of his fingers in and scooping some out. "Amy?" He waited until she turned to face him and wiped it down her cheek laughing.
She looked at him for a couple of seconds before grabbing some cake mixture and throwing it at him, hitting him right in the face.
Half an hour later both of them and the kitchen floor were covered in food, and they stood looking at each other laughing.
"I think we both need a shower" Amy took hold of Rory's hand and led him upstairs to the bathroom, both of them taking their clothes off and getting into the shower, Amy turning it on.
When they had finished washing their bodies and their hair Rory got out of the shower and wrapping a towel around his waist, Amy getting out after him and wrapping a towel around herself.
"Rory?"
He turned to look at her, "you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine, I just wanted to tell you that I really love you" she pulled him close and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him, "I love you so much".
"I love you too baby" he hugged her and smiled, "I always will". He kissed her again before taking her hand and going into the bedroom to get changed.
