Hunters

I smirked glancing back and saw them panting behind me. I easily jumped over the fence and snickered when they grunted as they hit the fence. I crouched jumping into the tree top and ran along the tree tops like a ninja.

I made it to the outskirts of town and changed my attire to my girly outfit. I pulled the mask and uniform off to show my school uniform. I jogged to the bus stop and slid in grinning at George. He winked at me and I slid into the seat behind him and he drove. I couldn't help but look back and saw the guys look around confused and took out a phone.

I smiled and pulled out my school work finishing it before I got to the school. I fixed my hair and makeup before I got off.

I skipped over to my friends with a grin and they just greeted me, while I act like I didn't rob a bank over an hour ago.

“Rain Valentine please report to the office.” My friends looked at me in confusion. I burrowed my eyes standing up grabbing my bag.

“What did you do?” my friend whispered talking about the loud speaker announcement.

I gave a small shrug and pout, “I don't know…” I really didn't know, at school I was a perfect student, never late, never below a 100 percent and never argued.

When I got to the office my gut told me something was wrong. I tossed my uniform that I used into the trash and walked into the office with a confused face.

“Yes head master James?” I asked stepping in.

He nodded motioning me to his desk. I followed and glanced over; I saw it was a man with the same type of clothing of the men chasing me.

I kept my confused face, “Is there something I did wrong?” I asked sitting down placing my bag on the ground next to my feet.

“Miss Rain may we see your bag?” I nodded with the same confused expression to the headmaster.

He grabbed it and passed it to the man. I tilted my head, “Why are you going through my bag?” I asked curiously, but I knew he was looking for my uniform.

He sighed setting it down, “It’s not here. Thank you.” He set my bag down and left. The head master gave me my bag back.

“I'm sorry for the intrusion but that man is from the government and said you robbed a bank.” I stared wide eye shocked making him laugh and pat my back, “That was my same reaction. The bell is about to ring, why don't you head home.” I nodded and grabbed my back.

“Goodbye headmaster James.” I waved and smiled and walked out. I passed the trash can glancing at it briefly I will have to get a new one…

“I'm home!” I shouted as I walked through the front door but was stopped short when I saw the men I outran in the living room talking to my parents.

I clenched my hands then unclenched them, “Mom, dad, what is going on?” I asked setting my bag down next to the couch as I walked over.

My mom looked up confused, “Is it true?” she asked with her lip quivering.

I burrowed my eyebrows, “Is what true?” I asked looking slightly worried.

She grabbed my hand, “Did you rob a bank?” I burrowed my eyebrows more.

“Of course not; my headmaster called me up to the office for a similar crime but I didn't do any wrong acts.” I claimed giving the good girl act.

My dad frowned patting my head while looking at the man that was in the office, “I told you, our little Rain would never do a crime like that.” my dad argued looking angry.
